I'm sure you know it. You go to your hairdresser (ideally to a pure men's salon), get your hair cut, get your beard in shape and then spoil yourself with dozens of creams and sprays. Afterwards you will have a special scent.
This is exactly the scent you get at Pour Monsieur. A citrus powder blend with a light aftershave touch. I don't associate this with grandpa scent or anything that I think of as older man scent. It seems to many people that this is because in the past you probably met more gentleman who regularly went to the barber for care. Or even to drink a whiskey and talk to other men while being raced with a sharp blade.
If all this doesn't mean anything to you, or you don't want it to, this fragrance will not be for you. Whoever followed me, however, will know what I mean just by reading it. I love this fragrance and I simply combine it with fresh and cultivated without getting too feminine/floral/soapy around the corner. Big disadvantage, durability and silage are not very good for a Chanel EDT.
