Man in the Woods
You've lived in the woods your whole life, have a pet wolf and chop trees in your spare time. This is what all the alpha males preaching to you on your social media platforms would smell like if they lived the lives they claimed. This is also what I imagine that the men who wore scents like polo green in the 80's thought they smelled like.
Shinanay is much smoother (and overall way better smelling) than a polo green however. This is an unapologetically resinous fragrance that I can see being a signature scent for an overwhelmingly confident man's man. If that isn't you, then this must be worn intentionally or rest assured that it will wear you.
From the opening to the end of its 8 hour lifespan it makes itself known with a good projection and sillage. If you love the house of Nishane and want to get into animalic fragrances, then this may be the easiest wear that they have to offer in that style. While I think this is an amazing scent (that I wear it at home from time to time), it is ultimately too animalic for me to wear as often as I would like.

Dry Woody Warm Red Tea
Most tea scents that I’ve tried (Wulong Cha, Au the Vert, Gris Charnel, Silver Mountain Water and Imagination) are all cooler and more refreshing takes on a tea scent. African Rooibos however is more evocative of a cup of warm (red? I don’t know why but this seems to be the best descriptor) tea that a loved one might make you after coming inside from the cold. It’s an absolutely Beautiful unisex scent that I wish I had gotten before the days began to warm up. To me this will be a scent best used in the fall or winter, but when it rains outside in the spring I will be immediately reaching for this.
PDM's Delina for Men?
THIS IS A ROSE! No way around it. The rose isn’t playing backup here—it’s front and center. It's the whole damn show. Toy Boy perfumes wonderfully while not being thick and lipsticky like Portrait of a Lady, and it’s not syrupy-sweet like Oud Satin Mood. It’s also not that soft, airy vibe you get from MFK's L’Homme À la Rose. The best way to describe it? It smells like a bouquet of fresh cut roses. If you’ve ever that and loved it, then you understand exactly what this is. If like me you love Delina, but want something that leans more masculine, give this a shot. It’s niche-level quality at clone pricing.
A smoother Eau Givrée
This is a grown and sexy grapefruit in a business suit that is quickly becoming one of my most worn scents out of over 300. Its a beautiful citrus with a light and clean vetiver that lasts 6-7 hours on my skin. Often compared to Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée, I find Perseus younger and a lot more wearable than Eau Givrée.
Buyer Beware!!
DO NOT purchase this is you are currently self battling with narcissism. Once this beautiful, sweet and fruity rose hits your skin you will relapse. Every time I put this on I feel like a brand new man. It’s such a bright scent that from opening to dry down pleases in every way. Excellent projection and sillage, this lasts well over 8 hours on my skin. Perfect for warm weather (today was 83 and partly cloudy) or on cooler days, Adonis Awakens has cemented its spot in my 5 favorite in my collection.
