What to layer with?
Even though no one wanted to join my sharing, I had to buy the bottle blind. Not because the fragrance pyramid appeals to me, but because of the look. This beautiful clear blue, just that alone makes me happy. The bottle is really nice, even though the blue is noticeably more translucent in reality than in the picture.
I think the bottle color doesn't quite match the scent. Pink, yellow, or orange would have suited it better.
Lifeboost - Happiness is more berry, fruity than aquatic. In the first spray moment, it's almost childishly sweet. You can also perceive a bit of melon and mango. Thankfully, the squeaky sweetness fades quickly, leaving behind a tropical cocktail. Definitely a cheerful scent.
But you are supposed to layer this fragrance to trigger feelings of happiness. Edeniste itself suggests a vetiver scent or a floral scent. Unfortunately, I don't have those. I have already tried
Vanille Irrésistible and I think it's great, but I definitely don't want to make Happiness any sweeter. Maybe something woody? I need to rummage through my sample box. I'm not unhappy with Happiness, but a bit disillusioned.
Since the packaging says "Essence active" and not Eau de Parfum, I don't have high expectations for longevity.
Addendum: The scent becomes relatively close to the skin quickly and lasts about 3 hours. You definitely have to layer it with vanilla scents. There's no point in layering it with scents you don't like. They won't get better.
Overall,
Lifeboost - Happiness is a rather feminine, young scent that has something of summery fruity shower gel. It lasts for days on clothing and has a bit of that "freshly washed" vibe. I like that a lot.
Would I buy it again? If I'm completely honest with myself: No.

Misleading Name
I wanted to test Tropical Sunset last summer, but no one offered a sharing or a decant. I contacted Comptoir Sud Pacifique, but they also didn't want to sell me a decant outside of a Discovery Set. Buying a 30ml bottle for €124.00 (excluding shipping) blind felt too risky for me. By chance, I was able to order a sample from an Italian perfumery online.
The scent starts off very citrusy. I don't know if it's Virginia cedar, but I don't feel transported to the tropics; instead, I feel like I'm in the spa area of a wellness oasis. Instead of thinking of warm, balmy sunsets, I think of a cold winter day in the sauna. I smell lemon with herbs. Later, a pleasant, sweet vanilla joins in. Overall,
Tropical Sunset is light and zesty, and maybe others immediately associate this scent with summer while my synapses are somehow misfiring here. It is a rather masculine scent that in the drydown resembles
Ani Extrait de Parfum or "Nasheet | Lattafa / لطافة." At first, I felt the longevity was poor, but in the second test, I was able to perceive the scent on my skin for a good 8 hours at 32°C.
I find this scent to be quite high-quality compared to all the other scents from Comptoir Sud Pacifique that I have smelled so far.
Postscript: During my summer vacation in the hot south, I actually enjoyed wearing the scent. It was not unpleasant even at 32 degrees. And the longevity is truly top-notch.

Intensive Sunscreen for Cool Summer Days
First of all: I find the scent to be very intense. One spray of
MahoganySun was more than enough to scent me on my walk to the store. And even now - over 1 hour later - I can still smell the fragrance on me.
In the fresh air, the wind brings a wonderful Tiaré sunscreen scent to my nose. However, when I hold it close to my skin, it becomes rather synthetic. The scent is very sweet, and I can only recognize Tiaré and fig with a lot of goodwill. And I don’t find the scent fresh at all.
It has to be pleasantly warm, the sun must be shining, and then when a cool wind blows,
MahoganySun manages to evoke feelings of summer and vacation. Even without a beach. However, if it is still and too hot, or if you are in enclosed spaces, then I fear this intense creamy scent will quickly become overwhelming. I don’t think the scent is bad, and it is definitely unique, but I already have enough of it now and feel the urge to wash it off. I can also imagine that sensitive noses might react to it with headaches.
All in all, I find this fragrance lacks suitable wearing occasions.

No Head Notes Catcher
... for that, the first spray moment feels too intense and especially too heavy on the incense. I am not familiar with oriental fragrances, but this is exactly how I imagine it: heavy and spice-laden. For a long time, patchouli and incense dominate for me. Sage and ginger join in later. Only in the drydown does the advertised apricot swing into my scent trail. I have been wearing the fragrance for a while now, still waiting for it to become the summer vanilla scent that has been mentioned several times, and I am glad that it is not 30°C outside today. I can imagine that this fragrance could become a candidate for headaches then.
For me,
Ambre Nomade is an absolute winter fragrance, which I would place in the same category as
Material or "Rock the Myrrh | Dries Van Noten." I like it, but I wouldn't want to wear it long-term. It is too loud for me and, in terms of longevity, actually lasts too long at times. But luckily, that's a matter of taste.

Hm...
Some time ago, I wrote in a statement that it resembles Cuir Beluga more than White on White. Now I have a new sample here for another test, as I was disappointed with my last sample and sold it. Vanilla and especially coconut are clearly recognizable and create the "Raffaello/Butterkeks vibe." But actually, it resembles Cuir Beluga very little. And White on White only due to the coconut note. To be honest, I find White on White better executed, as it has a special scent development thanks to the green fig component. With Shunkoin, I can't detect any scent development. It is gourmand with a delicious, sweet vanilla-coconut note. However, now - in contrast to my statement some time ago - I would actually prefer to wear it in summer, as it also has an aquatic note. And unfortunately, I think it still has a disruptive note that I somehow associate with plastic.
I wanted so much to be just as enthusiastic as so many others here, but ultimately, it is "only" okay for me, and a sample to wear from time to time is completely sufficient for me. You should definitely test it beforehand.
