Mango, Middle Eastern Style
Quite an adventurous fragrance, but I love it. I read that this was inspired by Stephane Humbert Lucas’, “Soliel de Jeddah”. I can’t speak to that as I do not own a sample. But this is a tropical, sweet citrus fragrance. It is also somewhat sharp at the opening. The note that is most prominent to me, however, is that green mango accord which is very nice. I also feel as if there is coconut in here, although none is listed. The dry down goes many different directions, but I enjoy that. Not like anything else I own!
Yum...
Sphinx's new fragrance, Creme de Pistache, was such a pleasant suprise. It is everything I had hoped the Kayali Pistachio Gelato frangrance would be. Kayali Pistachio is a fine fragrance, but IMO, the name set-up false expectations. One expected creamy, fluffy notes. It did not deliver that.
Sphinx's Creme de Pistache is very nutty, realistic and gourmand. And boy, is it a beast. A lovely fragrance for cooler temperatures. I'm thinking that this would also be great for laying. For example, with Bianco Latte.
