Sanctuary of Warmth and Spice
The Opening
It begins with a burst of hot, earthy spice a spicy-sweet blend lifted by a pine like brightness from pepper. Cinnamon weaves in a warm, woody undertone, while a touch of lemon adds a sharp, inviting freshness. Together, they create an aroma that feels both vibrant and deeply comforting.

The Heart
At the core, it turns balsamic and enveloping, rich with the golden warmth of benzoin. Styrax adds a sweet, resinous depth. a scent like warm tree sap or golden syrup, but never cloying. Hints of tobacco drift through, adding a smoky richness that feels quietly luxurious.
Beneath it all, a woody, amber base lingers.

The Base Notes
Here, amber truly shines: warm, sweet, sensual, and mysterious, with a golden, radiant sweetness. giving it a sense of purity and sophistication.

Overall Impression
This fragrance feels pure and elegant, like stepping into a sanctuary built of pale wood, with a spice and soft, smoky mystery. Almost like the comfort of chai tea.
I like this fragrance, my only frustration is that it becomes a skin scent rather quickly.

Masculine Statement – Not for the Faint of Heart
This fragrance opens with a sharp burst of ginger, its spicy kick softened by a subtle lemony sweetness that adds an energizing touch. It’s an invigorating start that immediately grabs attention.
At the heart lies the intriguing maninka fruit, a rare note primarily found in Boss fragrances, known for its rich, complex, and slightly sweet fruity character. There’s also a hint of lavender, though it’s quite subtle and easily overshadowed by the bolder elements.
As it dries down, leather takes center stage slightly sweet, smoky, and just a touch animalic, giving the fragrance a deep, masculine warmth. The overall blend is rich, spicy, and bold making it a strong statement scent.
That said, while I can appreciate its craftsmanship, it’s not quite my style. I see this working best for a mature, confident man who embraces his masculinity and wants his fragrance to reflect that. It’s a fragrance built for cold weather and wearing this in the heat would be overwhelming for both the wearer and everyone nearby.
Not the best thing I’ve ever smelled, but I can see the appeal. If you want something powerful, warm, and assertively masculine, this might be the one for you.

Enceladus the mighty giant
This one is not for me. it gave me the biggest headache. But I have to admit, the story behind it is incredible. As a lover of Greek mythology, I was beyond excited to try it.

Enceladus, the mighty giant, was the son of Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Sky). He waged war against the gods, and when the giants were defeated, Athena crushed him beneath Sicily. Legends say his breath fuels the eruptions of Mount Etna, while his movements cause tremors. The name Encelade also connects to Saturns moon, bridging Earth and the cosmos. I love when fragrances have a deeper meaning, and this one truly does.

But the scent itself? It’s just too much. Overpowering, intense, and dominated by an unrelenting sharp leather note. Somewhere in the background, I could pick up a hint of tart rhubarb, but it was buried beneath the heavy smokiness.

Wearing it felt like standing in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption. The lava has already burned away all vegetation, leaving only the scent of scorched earth and bitter, smoky air. It’s not easy to like, and it’s definitely not a blind buy fragrance. Just like the myth of Enceladus, it’s powerful, heavy, and unforgiving.

It reminded me bit of Memo Paris Italian Leather or Sicilian Leather

I think i will stay far away from leathery fragrances from now on

A Surprising Masterpiece
I’m absolutely in love with this fragrance! At first, I wasn’t sure about it the fig note was super strong, very green, and almost jam-like. But as time went on, I was completely shocked by how it transformed. This is truly a masterpiece. It becomes so creamy, rich, and calming.

The blend of bourbon vetiver, vanilla, tonka bean, and sandalwood really steals the show for me. I honestly just want to bathe in it and eat it. it’s that good! It’s so special and unique, but at the same time, I think it’s really mass appealing. My friends loved it

I get a honeyed, sweet vibe with a hint of spices and almonds for some reason. It’s deep, warm, delicate, and has this smooth, milky quality that makes it so comforting. feeling of being wrapped in something soft like a warm hug in a bottle. Truly a fragrance I can’t get enough of.

Bittersweet elegance
Something about this fragrance feels a bit off to my nose, making it my least favorite from Parfums de Marly. it’s not a bad fragrance—just not one I’d purchase a full bottle of.

The fragrance opens with a blend of marzipan, delicate florals, and woody nuances. At the top, I mostly pick up heliotrope with a hint of cypress, giving it a softly elegant vibe. Moving into the heart, the composition becomes soothing, with jasmine and lavender joining the star of the show: bitter almond. Unfortunately, it’s the combination of bitter almond and lavender that throws me off—it’s sharp and slightly unpleasant to my nose.
The dry down, however, is a tranquil mix of amber and sandalwood, slightly sweet and calming. This final stage is my favorite part of the fragrance, but even then, I’d still pass on it overall.
I think this scent could work year-round, but for me, the only time I’d consider wearing it is in the summer, if I ever got tired of fresh fragrances. If I had to describe it, I’d say it smells like a vanilla almond latte spilled in a kitchen full of herbs. It has a unique quality—cold and warm at the same time, though I can’t quite put my finger on how else to describe it.
That said, the performance is fantastic, from its strong projection to its impressive longevity. Despite its quality, it’s just not for me.
