The soft roses from japan
The opening has blast of tangerine but still its clear from the start its rose oud scent and oh is it done amazingly. soft japanese roses. oriental and slightly sweet. the main star of this scent. im combination with nice chinese oud. adding greenery and woody to it. they compliment each other very nicely. its more green on the opening than on dry down as the myrtle is clearly on the opening but it fades. still bit green thanks to the chinese oud but even if green scents are not for you i would say you like it.
the goat cuir de russie
You take the classic and well known scent. Cuir de russie and ask skillful parfumer to make his version of it. this is what you are given. hands down THE BEST cuir de russie. There is just not single aspect i would wanna change or tweak personally this is THE version i want.
all the aspects that should be on cuir de russie scent are there. animalic, smokey, leathery, spicy and most importantly the florals. they are balanced to perfection. nothing overpowers the scent they just compliment each other.
Leathery castoreum giving it the heart. birch tar, cade and styrax giving it the classic cuir de russie scent and soul. iris and orris adds elegant powdery feel to this. and the florals chosen for this composition just add to the depth.
the blend is the classic cuir de russie you surely know. its just blended to such perfection. smokey yet smooth not too rough. animalic yet so pleasant. the true elegance and sophistication. must try for thoes who love cuir de russie scents.
Banana and soil
Fruity for sure but has twist to it and not overly sweet like fruity scents tend to turn out (mainly talking typical niche parfumery not artisan ones)
From the very start its fruity but the fruits are on the damp and mineralic soil. This gives it nice unique factor in my opinion. The main fruit for sure is banana and thats not very common note in parfumery. Yet again makes it more unique. its not the only one there is also mix of many tropical fruit on it as well but i would not pinpoint any of them and go with the banana mixed with tropical fruits. the woody element and touch of animalic side is there also. to me very linear scent.
This is the hardest scent in my collection in terms i love this but it needs really specific mood and weather to make me grab this one.
Lotus, lime and Oud
The opening. Blast of lotus and lime on rose water. Oud showing signs its also there.
the lime gets tame quickly and oud starts to appear more. it shows it shelf as bit fruity blueberry nuance at this time. later it becomes more leathery and hay like. there is only bit rose water there, no lime but lotus lives. at the end it turns into BEAUTIFUL full on blueberry like oud and lotus from where it fades.
For the musk lovers
Clean musk, honeyd, laced with cinnamon stirred in tea. As musk focused scent its much more on the pleasent than harsh side. cinnamon and honey giving it nice spicy bit sweet touch and tea mixing greatly into the mix. honey dont last long for me whilst cinnamon does bit longer and tea is there all the time in harmony with the musk. The base has bit creamy sandalwood smoothening the musk even more oud is also very noticable whilst still not over powering the musk rather adding depth to the scent. The musk is smooth yet still animalic but its been tamed into the harmony with the other aspects of the scent.
Very very solid musk scent and for anyone claiming to love musk must try. you get to experience the wonderful natural mongolian musk.
