Creamy Pearl
Yesterday, My Pearls finally arrived at my place. After I had sprayed it on my skin simultaneously with two other fragrances from The Merchant Of Venice, La Fenice pour Femme and "Maria Callas | The Merchant Of Venice," along with "Woman in Gold (Perfume) | Kilian," to wait a bit for the drydown, I chose this beautiful perfume. My Pearls stood out due to its creaminess, intensity, and longevity. Today, the next morning, this is the only fragrance that is still distinctly noticeable on my skin. The other three have been lost in the bed linens.
My Pearls is a creamy, warm scent that surprisingly smells of musk, even though it is not listed. The carefully selected molecules in it give it assertiveness and longevity.
For me, it is wearable in every season and will be the perfect companion tonight at a wedding I am invited to.

Not for every nose…
… but for mine all the more! A truly beautiful, cool, elegant scent that comes across as very clean, creamy, and yet different from the well-known "fresh laundry" perfumes. I fell in love with this fragrance, which has a high recognition value, some time ago, and when I saw it yesterday in a limited 30ml version for under 100€, I could no longer resist. If a fragrance contains musk and Ambroxan, almost nothing can go wrong for me. I find it breathtakingly beautiful and very unique. It may not be for everyone, but I am all the more pleased to have found a little treasure for myself, which thus is not worn too often by others.

Beautifully Sigh-Inducing
There are only a few fragrances that make me sigh with pleasure every time I smell them. Animalique is definitely one of them. The perfectly balanced sweetness envelops the delicate leather so skillfully that it feels more tame than animalistic. The warm, creamy base is very pleasing and hugs you like a velvety soft, white plush carpet.
Animalique has no season for me; it works in any weather, but for me, it's only for special occasions, as it is truly beautiful and elegant.
Absolutely unisex, it embraces its wearer.

Teenage Love
It’s been over 20 years since I, as a completely inexperienced teenager in the world of fragrance, chose Boss Woman. Back then, it was my signature scent, and I felt incredibly grown-up and elegant wearing it.
Boss Woman is a fresh floral fragrance that doesn’t belong to any specific season or activity. It’s an “always-goer” that, by today’s standards, might seem a bit out of fashion, but is not old enough to truly be considered a classic.
When I created a profile on Parfumo last year, my collection was still relatively small, and Boss Woman had long since been a part of it, as this fragrance is sadly hardly available anywhere anymore. When I suddenly discovered it in a small Dutch shop, I was completely taken aback and had to buy it, proudly moving it from “had” to “have.”
Today, I probably wouldn’t wear it as a signature scent anymore, only when I feel nostalgic and want to indulge in memories of my youth. But it does make me a bit sad that my former favorite scores so poorly here, as it accompanied me so confidently through a crucial phase of my life!
Maybe there’s still someone out there who shares my old love for Boss Woman and appreciates my words.

Pleasantly Herbal Freshness
Once again, I must advocate for a perfume that I believe is unjustly rated poorly.
To begin, I would like to describe the scent as I perceive it, without making comparisons.
Puro is, at first, a fresh, fruity fragrance that is very present. On the skin, after a while, a certain sweetness emerges, and a bit later, a somewhat masculine herbal note, which I find very refreshing. Nevertheless, it can be worn well as a unisex fragrance.
You don't need much, and the longevity is also excellent. The bottle is very elegant with a black velvet look and a golden cap, both classy and simple at the same time.
Now, I will also address the accusation mentioned here that Puro is just a worse version of Erba Pura.
Yes, the similarity to Erba Pura is hard to overlook, or should I say, over-smell? But do I find it inferior in comparison? No! Because what distinguishes the two for me is the herbal note that Puro brings out after a while, which I miss in the much older Erba Pura. Puro also becomes sweeter later on, as the tonka bean comes through. I would even go so far as to say that I prefer Puro, as it stands out from the now widely spread Erba Pura scent clouds that drift through all pedestrian zones and are mostly emitted by teenage boys who are still so green behind the ears that they are not making a statement but merely chasing an outdated trend. Whether it is always the original, I dare to doubt, but surely no one would admit that. This is not to say that I consider Erba Pura a bad perfume. It certainly has its right to exist and is a solid scent that was a pioneer for many new creations. Surely also for Puro by Gritti. I just find it a pity that Puro is not given a chance to stand on its own and be perceived as such.
I like it very much; it has an honorary place in my perfume shelf, next to some of its siblings. And I am sure that over time, a few more from Gritti will find their way to me.
