My 5 samples of ALzD just arrived, and I had completely forgotten what notes are in Mandragore.
My first impression is mandarin, which isn’t actually in there. It must be the ginger, and besides the ginger, I can also detect a bit of pink pepper.
In the first seconds after spraying, I had the impression of cedar, which is also not in there :-)
I only know mandrake from pictures, and unfortunately, I don’t know what boxwood smells like either.
Now, after about 20 minutes, almost everything is gone, and I distinctly smell mint, ginger, and a hint of pink pepper.
What a shame, the longevity is miserable, but the opening is so beautiful and delicious that I still give it 70%, even though it doesn’t make sense to spray it on.
