Fragrance that smells of sun, summer, outings with friends, sand...in short, vacations.
It was a blind purchase because I was absolutely certain that I would like it and although I can't find Alien's DNA anywhere and different from all of them, I really liked it.
Its aroma envelops you and although its duration is not longer than I would like, it is enough for summer days.
I personally use it during all seasons of the year, but in summer the performance is better.
In the top notes I perceive a coconut refreshed by citrus. It is a dry coconut, I do not find it sweet or cloying. More like coconut water.
I perceive vanilla practically from the beginning, which I perceive rounded off by the note of heliotrope. The jasmine provides a very beautiful floral note, but it only accompanies, it does not stand out. Cashmere provides a velvety warmth that makes the warmth of this perfume stand out even more.
It is resembled by bronzers. In my case I do not perceive it as such.
To cool you down in summer.
It is a fragrance that evokes the transparency and freshness of water. It could even be part of the group of aromatherapy-oriented fragrances, because it makes you feel very good, relaxed and fresh.
At the beginning I feel a harmony between humid, fresh and spicy notes.
First, the freshness of mint is perceived together with a humid-earthy note that could come from the lotus flower. When the damp nuance fades, the sweet and fruity notes of peach appear, although I also perceive a note of melon.
In the final drying, the woods are very unstable, but the freshness that characterizes this fragrance continues to be maintained.
I think that due to the treatment of the aquatic notes it could be a unixex EDT.
Low longevity and sillage, making it very light and easy to carry on the hottest days of summer.
Light and warmth.
It is a fragrance that has me completely in love. It's bright, warm, fun...
Its sillage may not be the best in the world, but it lasts quite long on my skin (although I am aware that it lasts very little on other people's skin. Sometimes the skin's ph does not play in favor of the perfume). It is a soft, but persistent aroma (as if you had your favorite song on your mind all day).
The start is fresh. The citrus is felt quite intensely, as if it were an infusion of lemon with ice. Later, small orange blossom nuances appear, which give way to the star flower, the fe tiaré flower (at least it seems to me), it is perceived soft, well aligned with the other notes.
The dry down is very nice, because this is where the essence of this fragrance is seen, a warmth intertwined by vanilla, heliotrope and cashmere.
Personally, in summer I don't use it, because, despite its fresh output, it turns into a warmth and sweetness that can be a bit overwhelming.

When Alien began to be marketed, I was very curious to know what that perfume that came from another planet smelled like. One day I went into a perfumery and there I saw it, with that robustness that characterizes its bottle.
I remember that all the clothes I was wearing were impregnated with its aroma. The smell lasted many days in the closet.
It is one of my jewels. Its longevity is very high and its projection is very remarkable.
The beginning of Alien is a bit strange, and can even be unpleasant. I perceive a slightly synthetic jasmine with a certain menthol nuance, but then magic happens. it becomes a sweet woody (between floral and fruity) and balsamic, almost addictive. This phase on my skin lasts for hours and hours and even after 48 hours I can feel it in my hair.
In general, it is a powerful perfume and full of magnetism.
Water and nacre
I believe that the magic of perfume lies in awakening in us a sensory universe, which goes from feeling emotions, to visualizing places and colors, and even tactile textures and flavors.
In the case of L'Eau d'Issey, I can't help but think of crystal clear water, but also of a pearly whiteness full of softness.
It is a perfume that at first I perceive as aquatic, but also sweet due to the juiciness of the melon and nuances of honey.
Little by little the floral notes appear, of which the one I perceive the most is carnation, and which gradually merges with the woody notes.
It's quite a distinctive scent. It could be worn at any time of the year, as well as in formal or casual situations. Also, I think it could be a unisex perfume.
