Incensy Oud
Laurent Mazzone - Black Oud Extreme Amber(BOEA) starts with deep dark incense and lots spices. Quite impresing opening.
In heart notes, I feel the prominent ambergris note which slightly animalic and very salty feel has. Incense and oud note together has some balsamic feel. Oud note very complex and hard to recognize it but very quality. By the way incense notes not churchy style. It's very dark and smoky.
In basenotes you smell it's creamy vanilla and dry woodiness with leather accord. I quite impressed. Drydown smells like a smells the burnt woods and animalic leather. Like a in the middle of a forest fire.
Black Oud (BO) and the flanker which is name black oud extreme amber nothing same perfumes. Yes, BO has prominent oud notes as same as BOEA but, BO is much more a labdanum perfume, but BOEA is incensy and woody perfume.
I have to say; If you want more sweetness with more animalic feel you've to choose BO, but you search for complex and less animalic oud with much spice and quality ambergris you've to choose BOEA

Tom Ford's Age of Pause
I wanna just to say; it's confused rive gauche. very poor quality materials and a failed clone. While the beau de jour (private collection) is better and more successful, this edp version is definitely far from tom ford quality
Dont get the Hype
It's very smilar to Erba Pura but less sweet. Powerfull and long lasting. But It is definetly NOT worth the price. Totaly generic work. It has not creativeness. Last two years Xerjoff can't be creative. Please stop the presentation and make a real niche perfume.

First 3-4 hours similar to Amouage - Reflection Man after that smells like Dolce&Gabbana - By Men. it's very good performans and sillage.
Wonderful sandalwood and woody pink pepper mix with orange and fruity notes. Amazing.

Old Bottle is a Legend!
The perfume is opened with plenty of oud notes and indolic jasmine/bergamot blend. For old bottles, oud not very animalic and smells very quality laos oud. It's quite natural. Animalic feels very backward. It has a very floral and quality composition. Unfortunately, the new bottles are reformed and smells more animal. Definitely try if you find old bottles.
