Almond Dream for the Colder Days
I ordered a sample of Almond Harmony back then - in search of a new scent for the winter season.

Especially in the first hours, the almond note remains very well on my skin - together with the orange blossom. This results in just a slight hint of marzipan for me. I actually don't pick up much from the flowers - they capture the almond note very well and give the fragrance a light, powdery creaminess.
The dry-down completes the picture for me and emphasizes the "Harmony" in the name. Especially through the balsams combined with tonka and vanilla, the beautiful, dense creaminess with a hint of spice lingers on the skin.
The listed oud remains unrecognizable to my nose.

For me, Almond Harmony is a unisex fragrance with a slight tendency towards the feminine. It is particularly well wearable in autumn and winter :).
I would categorize the longevity and sillage as average - I get about 5-6 hours out of the fragrance.

In the end, you get what the fragrance promises - a harmonious, olfactory picture of almond :).

Fine Marigold
Never in my life did I think I would like a fragrance with marigold so much! For me, these flowers have always been associated with a scent of "mustiness" - not really my thing. When I tested Bal d'Afrique, I was convinced by this wonderful creation.

In the opening, the fresh notes of bergamot and lemon greet me.
The marigold sneaks in relatively quickly and gracefully among the citrus, bringing a certain spiciness without being "musty."
As the fragrance develops, it becomes increasingly floral and slightly powdery due to the violets, while the jasmine adds a hint of sweetness. Thus, the otherwise strong marigold is beautifully delicate and skillfully framed within the scent profile.
The woody base combined with the musk beautifully rounds off the fragrance and brings Bal d'Afrique to a soft, pleasant conclusion.

I would categorize the longevity and sillage in the upper middle range; it lasts about 7 hours on me without annoying myself or others :). Due to the balanced composition of the fragrance notes, I see Bal d'Afrique as unisex. Moreover, in my opinion, it can be worn year-round and for any occasion.

THE Sandalwood Fragrance
I got a sample of Santal Austral because it has been praised highly on social media and almost described as "The perfect sandalwood fragrance."
Well then.. it definitely took some time for me to be convinced. At first, it was far too piercing in my nose, completely overwhelming me. But during the dry down, it started to convince me more and more, and I am now truly enthusiastic about the scent!

The sandalwood is still too strong for me in the first few minutes, being the absolute star of the show. After about 15-20 minutes, I start to notice the slightly vanillic benzoin and the fine, creamy fig milk, which add a lovely warmth and creaminess to the woodiness. It smells almost like how a high-quality throw blanket feels ;). I notice the iris relatively little; it is more of a supportive background note for me. In the final part of the dry down, the tonka bean becomes more noticeable again, which brings the overall scent to a harmonious, cozy-warm conclusion.

For me, the fragrance is absolutely unisex, especially a treat in the colder seasons.

The potency of Santal Austral is truly remarkable; hardly any fragrance lasts as long on me as this one (at least 8 hours on the skin). Sillage and longevity are accordingly top-notch.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a potent, high-quality sandalwood fragrance, Santal Austral is the perfect choice!

Noble Tea
Gris Charnel did not impress me at first sniff. The aroma was initially too biting and strong, giving me a headache.
A few months later and with better dosing, I was able to warm up to it..

It starts primarily with the rich aroma of black tea, beautifully supported by the fine spice of cardamom. I am truly delighted by the fig here, as it complements the other two aromas without being too intrusive. The vetiver and iris are, for me personally, more in the background and accompany the top notes through the dry down. In the crowning finale, the tonka bean and sandalwood come together. This fragrant duo brings the overall concept of the scent into a creamy, comforting frame.

I wore Gris Charnel during the colder seasons, mostly in the evenings. However, it is also suitable for everyday wear when well dosed.

Sillage is really good; I notice it for at least 6 hours on my skin and on clothing for days.

So, if you are looking for an aromatic, noble tea scent for autumn/winter, you should definitely give Gris Charnel a try!

A Walk in Paradise
Leisure in Paradise lives up to its name. I ordered it based on numerous recommendations online. And once again, I was not disappointed by the house of Simone Andreoli!

The opening begins with a brief greeting from the pineapple (which I actually don't like that much). However, it is almost immediately intercepted by the (predominantly for my nose) papaya, blending into a wonderful fruit cocktail. Shortly after, the wonderfully creamy coconut milk sneaks in, complemented and surrounded by the delicate sweetness of vanilla. A gentle fruitiness remains present. In the dry down, the creamier notes increasingly unite with the woods, leading to a beautiful conclusion of the walk in paradise.

Wearable for anyone who enjoys a bit of fruitiness, sweetness, and creaminess. Leisure in Paradise was perfect for me on warm summer days in everyday life, as well as in the evenings.

Sillage was moderate on my skin; I experienced it relatively softly for about 5 hours. Okay for a summer fragrance.

Conclusion: If you're looking for a subtle scent for summer, you should definitely check out Leisure in Paradise. It's absolutely worth a try!
