I bought this without having sampled it, expecting a polarizing musk-heavy scent that I will either love or hate. But this turned out to be a creamy floral (where is the musk?) crowd-pleaser. The jasmin dominates from heart to finish. But the ylang ylang beginning reminds me a lot of Tocca Giulietta, but Pure Musc is more mature and unique in how its floral is expressed as androgynously as possible. It is also longer lasting, albeit close-sitting than anticipated. After 9 hours I am still happily sniffing it on my wrist.

For something calledn "Pure Musc", this is not what I expected. But it is superbly lovely in a put-together professional sort of way.

I totally get "mom's skincare" as a previous reviewer mentioned. The discreet musk is nostalgic and reminds me of that tub of Pond's Cold Cream, even though I don't recall if Pond's smelled like this.

Non-specific fruit and floral float casually on a solid jasmin and sugar base. It certainly does not impress but it is pretty and playful, and there are days I wake up eager to put this on.
It definitely leans youthful but the jasmin really anchors this down in a way to avoid being "juvenile", even though the sugar really does push it this way.
It's very much a mini floral dress sort of perfume. It is fine enough. I also want to add that this has the best atomizer in my entire collection and allows me to spray exactly how little I want to spray.

In my twenties, I was reluctant to wear this. It felt so inoffensive, bland and boring (I liked me my fruits and vanillas).
I'm in my thirties now and appreciate this for the masterpiece that it is. A perflect watery (icy) blend of yuzu, pomegranate, peonies and lotus (diving into a divine pond is what it feels like), brought down to earth with the comforting and sensual musk base - lasting me the whole day and lifting my mood and straightening my posture with each waft.
A steamed blouse and slacks and a spritz of this perfume to my wrist, this is the epitome of "put together". This may sound a bit nuts but this smells like financially independent femininity.
I'm grateful for how much dislike this receives since I feel unique wearing it. This is truly a "I wear this for ME" scent. I don't care for compliments - I feel like my best self wearing this.

Soft and creamy rain, freshly cut grass, and fig trees all around. Initial impression is a bit too grassy but when it softens to fig leaves and mild coconut, the scent is so calming and beautiful.
The longevity is criminally brief and I am much too low-maintenance to bring a 75mL bottle around with me to reapply throughout the day. If any scent is worth having to tolerate such infuriatingly short lasting power, it might be this one, but even then, I am not so sure.

Very fruity and juicy-sweet. Doesn't at all match its name, as this is not at all a "sexy" scent. Nothing about this is a tease - it is a linear fruity-sweetness in your face from start to finish. Smells like something from Bath and Body Works.
Younger people and gourmand lovers might enjoy this. It is too juvenile for me now.
