Sugar Bomb & Copy Cat

Rarely is a fragrance too sweet for me, most let the alcohol bite my nose first. Here, however, there is first a blow with the sugar claw. You know when you want to adjust the colors on the TV screen and suddenly the colors are so bright, as if you bit into the wrong mushroom? That's what Gucci Flora smells like... completely overpowered. Floral is just the name here. Olfactorically, it reminds me of a way-too-sweet cocktail spiked not with sugar but stevia and corn sugar.

At the second Reinriechen we notice two fragrance twins: https://www.parfumo.de/Parfums/Hunkemoeller/Noir The teen perfume from the bargain counter and https://www.parfumo.de/Parfums/American_Eagle/Vintage_for_Her_Eau_De_Toilette from the fashion label from the U.S. - fit in there well in each case. For a premium luxury brand like Gucci but an absolute failure.

The Sugar Killer

I may solemnly declare at this point that for the first time in my life, a perfume has almost managed to blow me away. Literally. Within seconds of applying it, I felt so nauseous that I thought I was going to pass out immediately. Yes, I fled the perfumery to get some fresh air. Then while I was sitting on the train on the way home and the cardboard-sweet, berry-biting smell from the wrist hit my nose, my head was buzzing. Yes, I got a headache like I had only ever known from one fragrance before: Burberry Her.
Too bad, because the classic Gucci Flora, but also Gucci Bloom, I like extremely well, but this one is highly concentrated cotton candy, ultra-sweet poison. Maybe it's too strong, but maybe I'm just too weak...?

Unexpectedly...

I must admit, fragrances from Gucci have never convinced me so far. I am 25 years old and felt the fragrances so far always rather for something "more mature" women. I became aware of this perfume by the incredibly beautiful bottle. My thought was, however, "Oh, that will be again nothing for me."

Today I went to the perfumery and saw the bottle standing there. Pink, gold and with flowers. So I couldn't walk past it at all. I sprayed the fragrance on and was shocked. Never has a fragrance from Gucci appealed to me so much!
The fragrance is sweet and fruity. Nevertheless, also floral. The red berries one smells out clearly. The durability is okay. After 5-6 hours, it subsides. One perceives nonetheless still a slight sweetness. Very pleasant!
I am positively surprised, so I had to order directly the original bottle
