Blkbrd

A soft fuzzy tonka bean, lily and musk. The name is fitting and if there was a scent Anthropologie shouldn’t have discontinued, it was this.

The citrus is almost the base, with the vinyl-jasmine and aggressive culinary garnish-y botanical notes the heart. Hot pink to be sure.

Neroli, the lightest leather, and musk neither dirty nor soapy. Fleeting but moreish. The perfect encapsulation of a “skin scent.”

Reminiscent of strawberry lemonade. Warm, mellow,, and very girlish (but not giggly). Close to syrup on one side and poignance on the other.

The amber sweetens the grapefruit and salt notes such that it almost feels like a gourmand. Much more that than a freshie.
