Excursion into the Past
This fragrance is and remains something unique.
I haven't used it for a long time, but it is one of the first in my fragrance collection and has belonged there for many years.
It takes me back to the year 1995, when I met a very attractive man, having only seen him a few times, I found him very interesting.
We went out a few times and got closer.
This man gifted me this perfume, and the first few times it overwhelmed me because I had never smelled anything like it before.
I think you have to learn to love it, but then.......
In my opinion, this fragrance has a very high recognition value; I can sniff it out from thousands.
And by the way, this man also did it right; even if it was only for a short duration, I think of him every time I take this bottle or smell this fragrance.
For me, it is not a scent for everyday use, rather something heavier, but not necessarily for going out.
Describing the scent is very difficult for me; I probably couldn't pick out a single component, it is just special, and has been for many years.
The sillage is quite remarkable, and 2 sprays are sufficient.
For me, it is definitely a fragrance that must not be missing from my collection.

Needed it again
I had difficulties with this fragrance last year and thought that nothing would come of it. But it does take some time, and also a few test tries.

Well, what can I say, my sample suddenly ran out and I felt like something was missing.
Exactly Donna rosa Verde.

A love at the third glance, so to speak.
Green freshness, perfect for summer everyday life and, in my opinion, also for work.
It starts off really fresh with the green rose; unfortunately, I can't detect the mate tea at all.
It also takes me a few more sprays to achieve a somewhat decent sillage, according to my husband.
The longevity for me is about 3, at most 4 hours.

I find the bottle very well designed and will get it once my second sample is used up.

So, what I wanted to say
I am a bit disappointed, as this scent is neither sweet nor gourmand on me. Not at all. I find this fragrance is also not at all Christmas-like or wintry. It’s not unpleasant, but it leans more towards being lightly floral, somewhat fruity, and then there’s a powdery note added.
Unfortunately, I also have to say that the longevity is only moderate.
It can be worn overall, but I will just finish the decant and that will be it.
Christmas smells different to me.

Vanilla Woods
I was eagerly awaiting this vanilla fragrance, as I am currently sniffing through all kinds of vanilla scents during the Advent season.
This time it’s a complete success. Vanilla meets dark patchouli, surrounded by sandalwoods that blend beautifully into this composition.
It feels soft, velvety, and balsamic; in this scent, I feel infinitely secure, warmly wrapped up, and can enjoy the upcoming cool winter days with it.
I can subtly detect a hint of smokiness.
Nevertheless, vanilla remains the main player, which is also my expectation of a vanilla fragrance.

I find the bottle well-designed and stylishly beautiful.

Composition where the notes are not quite right for me
I was very curious about the fragrance sample, but unfortunately it doesn’t feel complete for me.
I really miss the vanilla; on me, only the fruity note comes through, not a bad scent, but simply more fruity than gourmand.
Therefore, it’s not suitable for the cool winter days, not a cozy scent, it rather stimulates me a bit than helps me relax after a tiring day.
So, it will only remain at this sample for me.
