Ridiculously frustrating sprayer
Low price for a really nice scent. The scent smells like a man fresh out of the shower. This is undeniably a mass-appealing fragrance. It is heavy on the sage note on the drydown. Projects decently for the first 1 hour and 30 minutes and lasts for 6 to 9 hours.

I am really satisfied with the scent; however, the bottle design is absolute trash. When I first got it, I noticed that the cap is loose; never pick the bottle up by the cap. Then there's the atomizer problem. The atomizer of the bottle I got is utter trash. It can't spray properly; it SQUIRTS out very little amounts of the perfume. Tried to fix the atomizer with pliers and a needle after exhausting all other solutions to fix it. In the attempt to fix the problem, I was twisting the nozzle with the pliers, but it would not move or budge at all. I thought to myself that I am not exerting much force to pull the nozzle off, so I squeezed the pliers more tightly but in doing so ended up destroying the outer part of the nozzle -- revealing that the "inner" part of the nozzle cannot be twisted off the bottle, it is designed in a manner that it could not be removed unless completely destroyed. Absolutely horrible design. Really bad bottle design that gave me a horrible and stressful experience.

Razor Sharp
Opens up with a blast of citrus, a concoction of lime, lemon, bergamot, and blackcurrant. The opening is "screechy". I often get noseblind to this fragrance because of how aggressive it is. Up close, it almost smells like it's "anti-septic" that it could kill off germs; up close, it smells "sharp", "volatile", "inky", "metallic" and "acidic"but not to the point that it stinks, it can be offensive to people, as the smell is strong, especially in the opening. When I move around though, I could get whiffs of it in the air, and it is pleasant. In the air, it smells light, fresh and clean. The strong citrus notes fade away after an hour or so, but there is a citrus note that lingers all throughout the lifetime of this fragrance, perhaps its the lime that stays. After the opening, Club de Nuit Sillage settles down, it becomes "calmer" and more pleasant to the nose; I get lime, rose, woods, musk, and ambroxan.

I spray as little as 3 sprays and maximum 8 sprays. I wear 8 sprays when I'll be in an outdoors area and in the heat for a long time. I wear 3 sprays when indoors. I exclusively wear this during daytime. This is perfect for hot climate. I'd wear this to the gym because Sillage just has that "energetic" kind of vibe that fits sporty and physical activities.

The bottle looks gorgeous too. I like the shiny silver with cracks design.

Vanilla Apple Bomb
Simple and loud fragrance. Opens up with a nuclear blast of vanilla, tons of green apple sweetness and a bit of cinnamon. It is easy to get nose blind to 9PM, as the opening is really strong. The green apple and cinnamon notes fade away after half an hour or so, and all that remains is a domineering and prominent sweet masculine vanilla and tonka bean. After a couple of hours, 9PM changes into an alluring ambery-musky vanilla skin scent.

I exclusively wear this at nighttime when going out with friends. It would be weird to wear 9PM during daytime and when it is warm or hot.

I would wear as little as 3 sprays and as much as 12 sprays maximum. With 3 sprays, projection is strong, you will get noticed, lasts between 6-9 hours. Over-spraying turns it into a nuclear vanilla bomb; with 12 sprays, 9PM will fill a room, and will last between 7-12 hours.

Simple and Cozy but can turn into a Beast
This is a simple scent yet really pleasantly gourmand and cozy. Ameer al Oudh - Intense Oud opens up as an incense bomb with tons of sugary sweetness. After a few minutes, the incense note disappears. The sugary sweetness remains, and the vanilla and woody notes start to appear. After a couple of hours, the sugary sweetness fades away, and all that remains is woodiness and faint vanilla. Perfect for cold weather and rainy weather. I almost exclusively wear this at nighttime only. This fragrance feels like it enhances coziness, I often wear it when I'm about to go to bed or whenever I am in a lazy mood and just stay in bed reading a book or watching a movie. I rarely wear this outside to social gatherings or with friends, but when I do wear it out to events, I overspray, and overspraying turns this fragrance into a Beast!

I have worn this a lot of times at this point. I often wear 3 sprays only. But there were few handful occassions that I oversprayed, up to 26 sprays! When I overspray, I leave behind a really thick and heavy scent trail, people could track me down by following the scent from one room to another! One time, a friend exclaimed: "I smell something sweet!" she then asked: "Did someone bring freshly baked cupcake or cookies?" and she was around 10-12 meters away from me! It is not offensive when oversprayed as well. My mother one time asked I smell very good and asked what I was wearing. In summary, when oversprayed, it fills a room, leaves behind a really sweet heavy scent trail, and people will definitely notice. When sprayed modestly, 3-4 sprays, it is the perfect amount for a cozy vibe.

On me, it almost always lasts 8-15 hours, doesn't matter the amount of sprays. However, I noticed that when this fragrance is worn in Hot temperatures, it will last 3-6 hours only. I've worn this unintentionally when it was hot. In hot temperature, it prominently smells woodier as well, the vanilla and sugary sweet note is short-lived. So, keep in mind that to enjoy Ameer al Oudh - Oud Intense, you have to wear it when it is cold, perhaps 25 degrees Celsius below. Above that temperature, longevity falls short, the vanilla and sugary note is short-lived, projection will be poor, and will smell prominently woody like a woodswork shop.
