A Marzipan Vanilla Dream
In search of a Christmas gift for my equally fragrance-obsessed son, we ended up in an exceptionally great perfumery, with extremely knowledgeable staff!
I described what my son likes, and she sprayed some scents on me - I loved them all... but somehow they felt too "feminine," so I followed her advice and moved on to the partner store, as they also carried "Montale," and she was sure... I would find something there!
Yes - "Chocolate Greedy" was purchased :)
Satisfied and back home, I rummaged through all the wonderful scent strips from my bag and ooooohhhh my goodness... I was suddenly in love with Heliotrope!
It was already great in the store... but over time it developed into something incredibly warm and cozy!
A true marzipan vanilla dream... and I knew that after all this Christmas stress, I would treat myself to it.
My boyfriend must have noticed my enthusiasm because it was under the tree for Christmas.
Since then, I wear it almost daily!
On my skin, it lasts incredibly well.
For 6 hours, I can clearly perceive it, and even when I can no longer smell it myself, people still comment on it.
If you're looking for a fragrance with a spectacular scent evolution and transformation, you might not find it here.
Heliotrope is rather one-dimensional in that regard.
However, if you love vanilla, marzipan, and gourmand scents, you should definitely try this one.
For me, it's a dream of vanilla and almond.

True Art ...
For some time now, I have been occasionally looking at reviews of fragrances, and somehow everyone was raving about “Tobacco Vanille” ...
I had been searching for a long time for a perfumery that carries this scent ....but there is nowhere around here ...and my desperation, as well as my curiosity, grew!
At some point, my son had the brilliant idea to order a sample (he probably just couldn’t stand my whining anymore), and it arrived yesterday!
Even when I removed the small cap from the vial, I could smell it and was soooo curious how it would smell on my skin ....as it initially seemed quite masculine to me.
Sprayed on:
Spices ...cinnamon and clove, probably ...definitely strong .....then the tobacco comes through ....
My dad used to smoke a pipe occasionally when I was little ...that’s what I thought of :)
... and then the most beautiful vanilla I have ever smelled comes through!
Smoky, seductive, deep vanilla ....that makes me want to sniff my wrist over and over again!
For me, Tobacco Vanille is pure art!
A masterpiece of a fragrance, and I will buy it ....soon, because it gives me so much, and I fear my tiny little vial will be empty soon! O.o
Initially, it comes across as rather masculine to me, but no woman should be deterred by that ...because in the further development of the scent, it becomes incredibly warm, soft, sensual, attractive, and definitely unisex!
The longevity on my skin is extreme!
I could still faintly perceive it this morning before showering!
The sillage is also remarkable ....and I certainly didn’t spray wildly with my little sample :) ...yet it was consistently present!
THANK YOU, ALZD

One of my Most Special...
In Strasbourg, I had it sprayed on me, as I hadn't seen it anywhere before, and I must admit that this sharp licorice note also put me off, and I left without it.
In the evening, something smelled incredibly good on me... completely different, unusual, takes getting used to, but really good :)
Long back in Germany, I just couldn't get it out of my head, possibly because it was so different in its scent development!
So I received it for Christmas and am proud to have it... even though it really only comes into play on cold days, due to its unbelievable heaviness!
It is dark, smoky, scratchy, and in its own unique way, mysterious!
Hardly anyone knows it, and it is like a kind of treasure in my collection!
On my skin, it lasts forever!
Even the next day, I smelled of it...
The sillage is also very good, and I hardly need to say anything about the bottle: enchantingly mysterious :)
The sweet wood elegantly nudges the licorice note aside at some point, and standing out is practically guaranteed!

This is how fairies should smell
Pink Sugar was a blind buy; after hearing and reading a lot about this fragrance, I thought to myself... I have to have it.
It was supposed to be a cotton candy scent... childhood memories were meant to be awakened with this fragrance, they said... and it should have a bit of a fairground vibe, and there I sat in front of my package, hoping not to be disappointed!
Two sprays later... first pure skepticism!
So this is cotton candy or what?
Well... my dog needed to go out, so I gave the fragrance another chance in the open air... we had to get to know each other first!
Gradually, something quite pleasant developed on my skin... my companion also took a liking to this sweet fragrance bomb... and said: “It has something of cotton candy!”
Okay... something must be wrong with my nose! Why can't I smell it!?
Arriving home... unlocking the apartment door... there it overwhelmed me, the scent of fresh, sugary cotton candy!
Yes - this is how I wished and imagined this fragrance to be, after all the descriptions.
It just needs its time to fully unfold!
The scent: This is how fairies must smell when they ride over cotton candy fields on their unicorns!
The longevity: Above average!
I could still clearly perceive it in the evening!
The sillage: Incredible!
Cotton candy everywhere!
The price: For what you get, it’s almost a gift...

A Good Friend...
There are those days when nothing seems to go right and you just want to crawl back under the covers... longing for your childhood when there were no “real” worries... and a hug could still make all problems vanish into thin air.
My dad passed away nearly 3 months ago, and this fragrance is the last one he “commented” on.
He always said that in my collection, almost everything smells the same to him... but he found this one special and liked it very much.
I will probably forever associate it with him...
For me, English Pear & Freesia has become like a good friend.
This fresh, fruity, and floral scent always lifts my spirits... even on the grayest of days. It transports me back to my childhood with its distinct pear scent... when we used to gather pears from the fields.
When I wear it, I feel carefree, young, and light...
Unfortunately, the longevity on my skin is rather mediocre, and after about 4 hours, I can only perceive it very faintly.
The sillage is also not as hoped, yet it remains one of my favorites.
As Dad used to say, it’s just special...
