You hear so many good things, see them everywhere - the price-performance kings of Lattafa. They have great longevity, often resemble bestsellers, or are a phenomenon in their own right. And I keep trying. Time and again, I want to like them. I want to, but it just doesn’t work.

I always study reviews on Parfumo beforehand or look at reviews online. Everyone raves about them, the descriptions convince me. But in the end, I am met with the same disappointment every time - even with this fragrance.

The scent notes sound promising, but what I get is a blast of synthetics and a colorful mix of various components. I can hardly categorize the fragrance, let alone recognize the individual notes. And every time, I notice the same thing: They are incredibly unbalanced. The notes jab at my nose and hardly settle down in the drydown.

By now, I wonder if the problem lies with me. Am I just too spoiled by the expensive niche fragrances? By their harmony, their sophistication?

For me, the Lattafa journey ends here. I have given it my all, tried everything. What doesn’t fit, simply doesn’t fit. But I am glad that so many others find joy in this brand. Maybe it really is me…

This perfume is THE oriental perfume for both men and women. One must give this scent time and understand it, which is why it is not for everyone. However, if you let it sit on the skin for a while, it develops quite gently and pleasantly.

The perfume starts opulently with all the spices you can find at the souk. Just typically oriental. It smells like a hamam or a sauna infusion. Somehow unique and completely different from all the scents one has known so far. Whether one wants to smell like this is up to each individual, but I find it so special that I really like it. In this case, the name fits perfectly.

So, if you are looking for a perfume that is truly oriental and not just overwhelmingly sweet, you have come to the right place. Here you get elegance in a very special form. Moreover, the scent of spices and hamam also has something calming and pleasant about it.

The majority of the reviews point to a summer scent. They associate it with summer and everything that comes with it. I can only agree.

However, the coconut milk and vanilla give me such a sense of comfort that reminds me of cozy winter days. Snuggled up with a warm cocoa in hand, I feel comfortable and secure. But even in summer, in the sun with the sea breeze on my face, I feel this sense of comfort. And I wonder how can the fragrance smell like pure summer but also like winter at the same time?

Intense Tiare smells well-groomed and pleasant. No note is disturbing, no one complains. A blind purchase is possible if you enjoy creamy scents. This perfume also slightly reminds me of the small I love… fragrances that used to be (or still are?) available at Dm. Everyone had them, everyone loved them. And it’s the same with Intense Tiare.

This perfume combines the scent notes that I love: jasmine & orange blossom. The notes sounded so wonderful, so I ordered it blind.

Full of enthusiasm, I sprayed it on and froze. It smelled like sweat. Yes, actually like sweet sweat. I was disappointed and wondered why such a perfume is made and why it has such good reviews. But if I've learned one thing, it's that perfumes that initially smell rather unpleasant are often the ones that you end up liking the most later on. I tested it on clothing and on my skin. That was yesterday, and today I can still smell it strongly on this clothing.
This perfume will not appeal to everyone and is definitely not a light scent. I now totally love it after letting it settle for a while. It is beautifully floral, and the jasmine is always present. It is not a typical jasmine scent. A bit heavier and more opulent. I find it very elegant and somewhat mature. The sillage and longevity are top-notch. I think it fits wonderfully in both spring and autumn. Very grown-up, elegant, and majestic. A woman who knows what she wants and is happy to share her life experience.

I can’t stand them anymore, these synthetic fruity monsters called Erba Pura and Kirke. They give me headaches and make it hard to breathe. They overwhelm me from all sides in the city. And since these scents have become so popular, perfumers thought, “let’s take this DNA and put it in all our perfumes.” Because of that, I no longer dare to approach these fruit monsters, even though I would love to have a scent from this category in my collection. But then I encountered Accento Overdose and was taught otherwise. I would describe it as a more feminine fruit cocktail with gentle undertones that don’t cause headaches. I imagine it would be beautiful in summer or spring. A typical beast mode as one is used to from Xerjoff, but incredibly pleasant. It garners compliments with this perfume.
