You reach for the kama, pull the trigger and your mood is immediately lifted. "Damn, you smell good!" flashes through your mind as you get ready for the day. Inspired by the beautiful, juicy blackberry and the light spice, you are drawn outside. Where does the path lead? It doesn't matter! City? Go! Nature? Goes too! To work? Why not! Party / event? Sure! Eating cake with grandma? Now more than ever! You realize that this thing can really do something and that you are equipped for everything. Three-weather taffeta as a perfume? It would probably fit in really well with the marketing concept. Just enjoy life and go with the flow. As on and on and on.......
Description:
The top note starts fruity with the prominent blackberry and a few spicy and green notes. The blackberry is already dominant, although never too sweet and/or sticky. The heart note then becomes sweeter with cotton candy, which in turn is balanced by iris and gives you a stately clean note. Playful yet sophisticated. Musk fluff is then added in the base, which makes the fragrance totally soft and cozy. I personally don't notice leather that much. But I never have with London, for example.
Performance:
At the beginning, the fragrance has a lot of pressure. However, after half an hour - an hour, it clearly recedes. It is present but in a subtle way. Kama doesn't shout out loud into the world, but takes a steady and relaxed approach without losing its presence. After 6-8 hours it's unfortunately over, at least for me.
Design bottle / packaging:
The bottle and packaging are very simple and elegant. The black, square and high-quality packaging conceals a rectangular, simple and elegant bottle. The corners of the bottle are rounded here and there, which makes it a little more interesting. I particularly like the round metal cap. The sprayer is also okay but unfortunately not pressurized. I'm a fan of the design but I could also understand if you find it too boring.
Conclusion:
Here you get an incredibly versatile fragrance that offers a beautiful gradient and is guaranteed not to offend, but knows how to convey its own personality. In general, the Pernoire fragrances offer a special fragrance experience in my opinion, as they convey a feeling to the wearer. You get the impression that you are immersed in the fragrance personality, allowing yourself to be guided and supported by it and merging with it. A clear test and purchase recommendation from me.

Uff it's strong, that's how our babysitter smells.......
For a special occasion (comedy event), I wore this festive fragrance to stand out. And that's exactly what I did with flying colors. My better half immediately commented on this fragrance with "Who wants to smell like a sauna infusion? I mean, it doesn't smell bad, but it's kind of old-fashioned.". When we arrived at the event and our seats, the scent was immediately commented on by the people sitting behind me. "Uff, it's strong. It smells like our babysitter. Very strong.". I assume that the babysitter seems to be an older lady, because the scent actually reminds me of my grandma. Radiating nostalgia, the scent was like hell and I was definitely noticed. By then I was terribly uncomfortable, which never happens when I wear strong fragrances, and I had to think back to Roja Dove's words that a fragrance has to match your personality. This fragrance belongs on a person who absolutely stands behind it and radiates and possesses a good deal of self-confidence. I'm not quite ready for you yet, dear Mr. Diaghilev ;).

Now the fragrance is more floral and spicy (very nostalgic and classic) and doesn't change for a while. Associations with sauna infusions are quite justified, although this fragrance is also much more complex. Of course, the mossy base is already noticeable in the heart note. After a few hours, the fragrance loses some of its florality and becomes more resinous and powdery. It remains this way until the end. The progression is typical of a chypre fragrance. Very elegant, classic, high-quality and unfortunately also old-fashioned.
Performance:
We don't need to beat about the bush here. This thing here has steam and that's what you'd expect given the proud price. For the first 4 hours, it radiates properly and is permanently noticeable to the wearer. This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage ;). On the skin it is easily perceptible for another 10 hours plus and on clothes forever.
Design bottle / packaging:
Classic, timeless, high-quality, stylish and elegant. I love the bottle and was even tempted to buy it blind because of it :D. The packaging matches the bottle, no question.
Conclusion:
Highly complex, high-quality and classic chypre fragrance that definitely needs to be worn by the right person. The fragrance MUST suit the personality of the wearer, otherwise the fragrance will wear you and not give you good vibes. Even if it doesn't quite suit my personal taste at the moment and it definitely doesn't fit into the "modern" category, it is nevertheless a masterpiece and a statement of French perfumery.
Never buy blindly. "Try before you buy" applies here more than ever. It is definitely worth a test. Whether it will find an awful lot of fans is another question.

Blue as the sea.....
Vacation on the Mediterranean, boat trip. A sea breeze blows in your face. The sun is burning down on your head. You urgently need to cool down. Performance:
For a fresh, aquatic fragrance, I think the performance is really not bad. It radiates quite pleasantly for the first two hours, then recedes somewhat but still remains present. You can feel it on the skin for much longer. It's not an Ambrox monster, but it still lasts really well. That amazed me!
Design bottle / packaging:
The 2024 version has a wonderful color gradient in the flacon design, which I like much better than the 2020 version. In general, I think the bottle is really cool and timeless. The rounded, wide, flat shape simply has style and looks beautiful. Unlike the perfume, the cap is unfortunately not magnetic. What a pity. As with (almost) all designers, the packaging is simple and fulfills its purpose, but nothing more.
Conclusion:
Here you get a high-quality Aquat, which convinces with its light fruitiness and sweetness. It feels wearable for every occasion / weather. You always feel fresh and don't get on anyone's nerves. Of course, it really comes into its own in summer. Freshly showered in the morning, three or five spritzes on your neck and clothes and then off you go. It also works wonderfully in the office. A clear test or buy recommendation.

It is incredibly finely tuned and the individual fragrance notes are brilliantly interwoven. As a result, the fragrance creates a mood. Initially, I also detected a pungent note in this fragrance. However, I can no longer perceive this note. Presumably my brain is now successfully blocking it out so that I can fully enjoy the fragrance. The fragrance is largely linear.
Performance:
It should be clear to everyone by now at the latest that this fragrance is not a breaker. However, the fragrance has nothing to hide either. It lasts a maximum of 6 - 8 hours on my skin. The sillage is very present for the first half hour, then decreases to a noticeable level between 1/2 and 2 hours and is then perceptible in a small area around the wearer.
Design bottle / packaging:
I think the absolutely heavy and high-quality glass bottle is really super beautifully designed. The heavy lid also looks great and matches the bottle perfectly. With my two Anfas fragrances, the lid wobbles and is not very stable. Otherwise top.
Conclusion:
Belongs in every collection and is also good value for money. Of course, you have to be aware that the quality of the fragrance is paramount here. If you are looking for a breaker, you are clearly wrong. You get a fragrance that is incredibly beautifully balanced and interwoven. A clear recommendation to try and buy :).
