Fougere... Fou... What?
Fougere?!! And even though only bergamot is listed, this is the first impression... But only for the one millisecond, that one second that makes it a top or flop encounter.

Hooked, having long been tempted, and thanks to a nice perfumer here, I sought it out. Great expectations have settled within me. It was said to be no blind buy candidate. So, boom - blind purchase made.
Meeting high expectations is almost impossible, as we all know.
After such different descriptions, I only knew half of what awaited me in the beautiful packaging.
Lemon cake - no lemon cake... I associate vanilla more with a wrinkled nose... Cool, warm... I’ll test it out and am curious.
Yes, my first impression as already written above - fougere. But only for a brief moment. Cool... Dry... Vanilla, but what a vanilla! Quite wonderful, not overly prominent but always present. Not a cloyingly sweet vanilla, dry and green in one moment. Just to become beautifully warm shortly after. Smoothly underlined by amber and sandalwood.
Very well intertwined components of the female & male kind. Definitely unisex, but it doesn’t fully describe it.
This scent is the one that stands on its own. It doesn’t want to please at all costs; it seems to know itself well enough to be at peace within. It needs no admiration. It loves itself. And it fits me like (almost) no other.
The relationship between us will last, even without lemon cake.

Rose
One of my first favorites that I often repurchased. I generally don't like Escada and can't connect with their fragrances, but this one stands out significantly from the rest of the squeaky-sweet stuff. The rose is perceptible from start to finish, leaning more towards the masculine side for me (ambrette seeds?) - and I love that.
In terms of longevity, I find it really, really good for this price segment, and its sillage is also decent. Definitely worth testing if you want something that, despite the rose and co., isn't sweet but has thorns. Wearable for women who know what they want. A mature scent that isn't too complex. I work in a hospital, and it is still noticeable on me by others even after 10 hours. (confirmed multiple times)... One of the very few designers who really have something to offer.

Oh I Smell Coconut
... But that is not included - lucky me. Coconut can be tricky. When I think of it, I first smell air freshener coconut. And that makes me gag. And here? Fresh, clean, not sweet... A hint. Caribbean, sun, and sand at my feet. And in the same sniff comes (as I believe) coastal moss. May the devil in paradise know what that smells like, I do not. But if it smells like this, I like it.
PRM was a blind buy that I do not regret. I also find the assessment of its longevity rather questionable. I perceive it for a long time - for an aquatic. And it radiates moderately as well. I know more expensive perfumes that perform far worse.
Really a great scent. Not sweet, not too citrusy, not too spicy, slightly icy but definitely not synthetic. A short trip to paradise without the stuffiness that other candidates bring along.

A Good Wine and a Fragrance
...for both I gladly open my wallet. I inherited my affinity for scents from my mother. Although she has already given up on hers - at least the search for her fragrance.
The situation with wine is similarly wonderful.
At first, the prope phase. Oh, what stories one hears... you have no personal taste and probably develop it here.
I apologize in advance to anyone who feels offended.
It must be sweet - for now.
Over time, most people realize that a good wine should have both dry and less dry components. And that a good red wine can indeed be dry. It unfolds after the initial taste....
What does that have to do with fragrance? Quite simply, you have expectations, ideas, components come together to form your own picture, and with great anticipation, you hope that it will be "just right".
My expectation for the niche? No understatement. No mainstream. I expect a curved, distinctive signature. Period. I expect to smell something that I can't sniff out everywhere.
Despite the tuberose, I was very curious about this scent. It also depends on how intertwined the individual notes are.
Thanks to an attentive Parfumo, I was able to sniff "Hundred Silent Ways".
But what do I smell? The better-off sister of La Vie est Belle...
I smell tuberose.... tuberose.... tuberose until the end. Heavy, sweet, and simply not special.
To not completely destroy it, I would like to note that you can indeed smell its quality.
I just want to wash it off. It fills the whole room... whether that's just my perception, I don't know, because usually what you don't like lingers too long somewhere.
The scent is mainstream, it has no unique selling point, and I don't want to smell like a girl who is beginning her journey into the world of fragrances.
Sure, it has its fans, but you can find something cheaper at the Douglas store.
Unfortunately not for me, but the name sounds promising.
....hundred Silent Ways... I will take a different path.
H/S very good. Projection is too much for me, but those who like this type of fragrance will love it.

You Stand Out
Fahrenheit first encountered me in my youth.
In a disco, back when you could still smoke indoors without a care while drinking. Standing out from a blend of tobacco smoke, sweat, and spilled drinks is not so easy. But Fahrenheit manages this effortlessly.
1 man out of 100 has worn this scent... I bet you can smell him.
It may have been the surroundings, the wearer himself, or both together. But Fahrenheit reminds me of a pimp... In the late 70s or early 80s. Gold chain, mustache, an open shirt with chest hair spilling out... Egotistical smile.
Although I really like the scent, not everyone can wear it.
Of course, you don’t have to be the described image *laughs* but you do need some charisma for this one.
It's not for those in their early 20s... Nor for those in their early 30s... Unless you’re already a man by then. Ahead of its time back then.
H/S is above average. When applied cautiously, it doesn’t annoy either.
