Snuggle bear's perfume

My husband has the black Toy Boy and I have the pink Toy 2 Bubblegum, and I love both, so I was very eager to finally try the clear original version. Would be cute to have the whole family of bears in our home! Even though this is marketed as a feminine perfume, I find this rather unisex. It's very fresh and clean and smells like a good laundry detergent, which is a gender-neutral scent to me. I imagine the teddy bear from the fabric softener commercials would wear this, but I'm not sure if that's accurate, as I never use fabric softener.

Notes-wise, the green apple is very prominent, which adds a shampoo-ish touch to the general cleanliness of the scent. Usually green apple is one of my lesser-loved fruit notes, but I enjoy it in his context. A touch of sparkling, sweet mandarin orange is noticeable, too. The rest of fragrance mainly consists of a radiant, fuzzy, modern white musk, maybe with a touch of woods. It's clearly a synthetic scent, but let's be real here, it would be impossible to have a natural smelling perfume that is reminiscent of fresh laundry. Clean always means artificial. Here, the synthetic vibes don't cross the line into harsh and scratchy, and that's what matters to me.

I think this is great for summer, it makes you feel freshly showered on hot and sweaty days. Maybe I'll get a bottle if I still think about it next year. A child for our two Moschino bears.

Just clean blanket

1. Essentially, it is a clean blanket-like scent that has just finished washing.

2. I think anyone can wear it regardless of gender. This is not in the sense of unisex, but in the sense of asexual. In South Korea, where I live, men actually wear this kind of perfume. Byredo Blanche, Clean Warm Cotton and Cool Cotton, and even Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline...

3. The blanket-like scent gives a clean, neat, and refreshing feeling, but it also gives an unpleasant feeling on rainy or humid days. Probably because musk particles are big and heavy. However, Toy 2, which emphasizes the light and transparent scent of Fruity, has no such disadvantage. Instead, it doesn't feel cozy like a hotel. I also think it suits very young people only.

4. If you want a clean, cute scent, it's a pretty good choice. If you expect more from perfume, it's just so-so.

Dish soap, but one of the fun ones at least?

Toy 2 is pretty immediately sweet and fruity on application, but in a way that reminds me of Dawn green apple dish soap. It doesn't change much on the dry-down, either, so it's really just as though you've washed your hands... with Dawn green apple dish soap. Certainly fresh and clean, but might be better used as a layering scent with something that has a bit more body.

Dirty Bar Soap

This one was really bad smelling to me. It smelled of super synthetic sweet bar soap, but inside a dirty shower full of mildew. I find it more floral (80%) than fruity (20%) and the longer I wear it the more nauseous I get. Will be scrubbing this off now, can’t wait long enough to determine longevity or silage. My sample was from a reputable decant site.

Synthetic, Lab-grown Fruits/Florals?

To start, I do not want to discredit anyone who likes this perfume! Everyone's nose is different. However, this simply wasn't compatible with mine.

After spraying, it read as synthetic, strange, and overall, I felt that something was missing from the scent. It smelled like it should have rounded out to be warmer, but it was crisp and jagged instead. If only the woody notes had come out more...? Even the attendant at the perfume store who was helping me search for perfumes (and, obviously, whose goal it is to make sales) agreed that something was "missing" from the scent and didn't really like it.

It wasn't outwardly dislikable; if someone was wearing it next to me, I wouldn't run away or cover my nose. But it wasn't natural, either. It was nasally, not something I could breathe in calmly, which I suppose is the very thing that makes it feel heady and intoxicating for others.

Yes, it smells clean, but more like an "I went through a Resident Evil-type dystopian chemical mist cleaner on the way out of a lab" clean. Keep in mind, I am someone who is sensitive to certain fragrance ingredients, for example, aldehydes. If you are sensitive to similar compounds, it's worth trying this one for free (in a store) to see if you'll feel the same way I did.
