Freu(n)de on Day 2.
I have a skin that always has problems with sillage and durability, even despite putting cream. Does not even come to the idea to advise me that. Then I'll just sad.
But even with these aggravating conditions, Shaghaf Oud is just too brute:
However, I have found a way to wear this fragrance.

I'm just going to save how it comes across in the first few hours and focus on the time we get to be friends.
On the first day Shaghaf, it must be cold outside, gets to go for a walk in the fresh air. Sprayed on the scarf or cap, I keep him outside great. The next day skin&hair still smells of it, then the scarf is even allowed to go to university, to the office or wherever you are indoors, even if it only hangs on the coat hook, it smells a little cloud around it. But on the second day it's just little oud, little rose and more vanilla praline sweetness.
You have to first get on it, ne strongly projecting base. Crazy.
Once I understood how it worked for me, we became best friends.
On this second day, he also sometimes makes some room for other fragrances, which are then layered on top. This all works out wonderfully.

What he can do, he does well.
The word "Junoon" is not only in Arabic, but also in Urdu or in Indonesian but it apparently somehow means passion.
Black passion is really the last association I would have with the scent. It's bright, sweet, very floral and the citrusy notes that some are smelling here don't really resonate with me. And:
I don't find it particularly powdery either. A slight floral powderiness is there, however, where Junoon Noir's bright buddies from the series are supposed to be real powder bombs.

Let's go from what it isn't to what it is after all: the longevity is quite good, with moderate projection, we have an ultra-feminine, young and somehow fresh white-flower scent, I smell jasmine and lily of the valley in particular. The fruitiness is not citrusy and not at all biting, but rather subtle and makes the whole round. So really round, no edges. However, I think a certain headache potential is quite possible due to the really strong floral sweetness. I hold out him but well.

As the title says - nothing earth-shattering, no blatant enlightenment. Can imagine the but during the day as a spring fragrance well, even on me continue.

GothGirlfriend vs
This fragrance from YSL is very exciting and has two faces for me - but first of all the description; ultra-powdery like slightly flowery, fine, rose-coloured blush of a high end cosmetic brand, at the same time soft and leathery and then develops into a dreamily woody, slightly sweet vanilla.
Now, this scent could be that edgy, quick-witted, hot goth teenager wearing torn fishnets with chunky platform boots and wearing an oversized 80s black suede jacket with lambskin lining to go with her short velvet dress, or the quirky old neighbour who lives at the end of the street in a stale attic flat, wears a little too much make-up and has three fluffy, coiffed dogs. Both of them I would like to be and both of them smell like YSL La Vestiaire Velours.

Now I have described two wonderful clichés of a US-American series or something similar, but this fragrance is really very special, I like it, exactly because of that.

Chinchilla in cocoa bath
Have you ever seen a chinchilla take a sand bath? These fluffy little creatures do it to protect their fine fur from sticking together.
Similarly earthy as a chinchilla sand bath and a little stickier than the chinchilla skin, but Angel Muse smells of it, and instead of the sand, it was perhaps a mixture of cocoa powder and ground hazelnuts.

All in all, the scent is very well done, I find it contrary to many descriptions not really soft (Have you ever touched such a chinchilla? It's incredibly soft...), but a little bit edgy-spicy and has in any case a very high recognition value :) I'm sure I'll be wallowing in it a lot this fall/winter.
