The new aristocratic spicy cologne
I Vicoli Vía Fiori Chiari is a high quality scent that offers a modern take on retro aristocratic spicy cologne style. Starts herbal, ginger and very lemony and gets warmer, sweeter and boozier as it dries. It is nice but I think it doesn't fit me.

Most women will find It leaning masculine. I get why it might remind some of Lutens' Chene, which I prefer, through Chene is drier, leathery and its spices add an oriental side which this one lacks of.

Another leather to love
This morning I had the chance to smell this blend which is a great spicy leather perfume with lots of saffron, a green middle and a beautiful warm prominent sandalwood at the drydown.

Great longevity and decent sillage. Fall and winter daytime perfume.

Noted on my want list, I would love to own It. I need this one for next fall.

EDIT: it is now mine and owning it already makes me want summer to end and cooler days to arrive so I can give this beauty a use.

Flower explosion
This is review goes for vintage edt.

Oh my, this is such a beautiful flower explosion! The flower blend is superb, excellent, unbeatable. You can get many notes as it continues to change towards cheerful chypre floral guerlainish dry down. It happily lasts a very long time on my not so easy skin.

In the middle way between 70s and 80s florals but with Guerlain's house extra quality.

I love it.

If you like aldehydes, white flowers, specially gardenia and tuberose; if you like fragrances to evolve and change and surprise you with their different reaction to different weather and skin conditions; if you feel attraction for floral and chypres, give this one a try.

And don't believe everything you read, it has little to do with Fracas, even less with Carnal Flower apart for containing tuberose; neither is it a sillage killer or headache inducing (unless you are one of those which get headaches with real flowers).

Dark smoky forrest green
Amazing stuff in its first release. It is so interesting, smoky, herbal, dark and special. Not for everybody, if you love extra sweet candy girly perfumes, this isn't for you. This one needs to be considered definitely as a unisex. It is great for layering too. After finding myself testing it once and again, I bought it for winter sunny days.

Another one to share with my companion.

Sparkling fruity oriental
The main notes selected by members above go for the drydown. This weird but gorgeous one, starts out full of aldehydes and sweet lovely fruits and flowers. It transforms after a while into a warm bunch of syrupy flowers laying under a layer of high quality powders. It ends in a very sweet animalic-balsamic oriental scent which isn't loud on my skin.

I find it rich, sparkling, bright and exuberant. It has the boldness and strength of the last century's ending decades perfumes but with an incredible rich sweetness that shadows some of the more recent orientals. This is a complex, and not so common blend of ingredients, that evolves beautifully along the first four hours on me. This combination of originality, deliciousness and complexity in evolution isn't new coming from the nose which created this perfume.

Sillage won't be agressive if you apply properly and I can still feel it after seven hours, so for my demanding skin, it is a long lasting perfume.

I love it and I'm really happy I could find a bottle after having tested it for a while. I suggest all very sweet oriental flower lovers to try it before it becomes absolutely impossible to find a bottle. The bottle by the way is beautiful too.
