More than the sum of its (component) parts
Love it! Although one could say it smells like a fir needle infusion for a bubble bath... - but only if you're really mean! This one is soooo much more! I think esoteric people would describe it as an aura fragrance - at least in my imagination. Wrigley's Spearmint would also be a (inappropriate) association one might have at first impression. Clear, light, zesty and something I've never smelled before (which always triggers enthusiasm in me) - frankincense/moss/musk can be quite clearly identified - with the rest it's hard - especially white flowers I perceive not at all - it’s just more than the sum of its (component) parts.
And definitely worth mentioning - it lasts and lasts and lasts... Nothing can stop it - sprayed on in the morning; evening sports and sweat - pfff; then showering - sure, but with that you really won't get rid of it - surprisingly so. Even the next morning it can still be perceived - ergo sum - the longevity is amazing! Sillage is also quite long-lasting and fills the room - one spritz is absolutely enough.

Slight Disappointment...
I have had the scent for a long time as a deodorant stick and I am mega enthusiastic about it! It was included in a large bundle and so I - somewhat unintentionally and a bit happily - had my first encounter with The Scent. With the deodorant stick, the top note is a constant presence - the sweetness is well restrained and the ginger is finely spicy, supported by the lavender and the fruit - the leather is only vaguely perceptible.
So - I was very close to treating myself to the scent... Today I tested a sample of the fragrance - and on one hand, I am glad I didn't buy it, and on the other hand, I am somehow disappointed that the EdT differs so much from the deodorant stick. The EdT also has the really beautiful top note - but only for 5 minutes - then a wave of undefined sweetness comes in force, which clogs everything. In the background, leather can somehow be perceived - but nothing remains of the rest except a diffuse hint. What a shame! It could have been a good one!

Yes? What does it smell like then?
Frangipani as a fragrance component is always very confusing, as the scent of the flower varies greatly depending on the subspecies - in this case, my perception tells me - it comes across as very fruity; dark red fruits - most likely blackberry - luckily I like the scent (2 of my favorite fragrances are 'Black and Bay' & 'Mortal Skin'). The berry is somewhat synthetic and rather sweet, but it doesn't drift into unpleasant territory. This part lasts about an hour, then the tea comes - yes!?, or maybe not - so I don't perceive it as tea, especially not as matcha... but anyway, it blends well with the berries and over time it merges into something undefinable. By the time of the drydown, wood definitely comes into play, even though it doesn't appear in the notes - in my opinion, sandalwood, and in the more robust variant.

Amazing Dominance
I've had the fragrance for 2 weeks now and find it totally fascinating. However, I find the mention of a fragrance pyramid inappropriate here - everything (and so much more) is present from the very beginning, yet the progression cannot be described as straight linear - time and again, a different note subtly comes to the forefront.
Now to the headline - I played around with the fragrance a bit and layered it with different other scents - the result was unexpected - the fragrance swallows everything! No matter what I tried - it was gone in seconds and had no influence on the scent. The only exception is citrus, which suits the fragrance really well - it allows for a bit of space. I can't remember ever experiencing such 'arrogance' in another fragrance.

Something different
I really like this one! It has something that I haven't noticed in other fragrances... although perception is not that simple - it's somehow subtle - definitely the aldehydes, I would say - what most people describe here as 'metallic' - I don't perceive it as metallic - but I can't really name it concretely!
Now to the scent progression - I perceive the top note as cucumber/dill with ginger - but that fades quickly and then green grapefruit remains (it must be the interplay of lemongrass and matcha tea). It stays like this for several hours, with the tea becoming stronger at some point and you can definitely name the lemongrass now. The base note only comes through for me quite late... Overall, there is a refreshing brightness from beginning to end. An ideal summer fragrance that is nothing like other summer scents!
I give it a 100% recommendation for purchase! But due to the aldehydes, which often cause differentiated scent perceptions, I would recommend testing it beforehand (on the skin!).
