Typical Clean Guy from the 90s
Many fragrances that hit the market in the mid-90s have one thing in common; they all smell pure, clear, clean, like freshly washed..., they all carry a certain innocence aura, with them you don't hurt anyone, and they rarely polarize.
This fragrance from the Japanese designer Myake clearly belongs to that category. A lemony cypress scent that is probably more suited for the warmer season. Just like CK One, it is a clean guy fragrance that is uplifting and puts you in a good mood.
Longevity and sillage are quite good; and in my opinion, it is definitely unisex.

Beautiful Citrus Cocktail for the Warm Season
Anyone looking for a not-too-sweet, rather light citrus fragrance for the warm season will be well served here.
Sculpture offers a lovely blend of flowers, lemons, and oranges without coming across as feminine; the scent can easily be worn by the female gender as well.
Longevity and sillage are good, and the transparent bottle with the Greek emblem is a real eye-catcher.
All in all, this perfume radiates Mediterranean lightness; the ideal companion for a vacation by the Mediterranean.
And the price is a steal..., sometimes you can find the 100ml bottle for under €20.00.

Missed opportunity...
With great fanfare, this fragrance was introduced to the general public last year. The expectations were high, but the result is mediocre to weak...
For me, this fragrance has no recognizability, weak longevity, and a very close-to-the-skin sillage. If it were presented to me blind, I would think it was a drugstore scent available for under €10. A whole range of perfumes for the budget-conscious already smells like this.
One would have expected much more from the great master and genius Karl Lagerfeld.
Well, this perfume certainly doesn't hurt anyone, it doesn't polarize at all, but for the perfume fan seeking individuality, it is dispensable, and surely will be off the market faster than one thinks.

Spring lets its blue ribbon flutter through the air again...
If there is a scent that I associate with the season of spring, it is definitely that of the sadly discontinued perfume "Insense" by Givenchy. For me, it does not represent the emerging spring, but rather clearly stands for the spring that is in full bloom. The meadows are full of daffodils and lilies of the valley. The magnolia blossoms are releasing their fragrance, the birds are singing in the trees, and a warming spring sun is smiling down from the blue sky.
Probably, the very beautiful commercial from Givenchy contributes a lot to my associations:
A young, good-looking couple, elegant, in light clothing; the young man throws a bouquet of flowers into the air, and they rain down upon him. The color of spring yellow dominates the spot, and it has also been transferred to the packaging, as well as the color of the fragrance.
Unfortunately, the perfume was ahead of its time; in 1993, very few men probably wanted to smell floral.
The later emerging metrosexuality had not yet been "invented." A similar fate befell the first men's perfume from Nino Cerruti in 1979, which had a similar character to "Insense"; it too went more or less quietly into oblivion.
Perhaps today would be the right time for such fragrances. In my opinion, a different name would then be appropriate.
Unfortunately, the most fitting name for this beautiful scent has already been assigned to another excellent spring fragrance: Fleurs Du Male...

Syrupy Chemical Sludge for Little Money
Since this scent has often been compared to "1 Million," I became curious.
I must say, however, that this "perfume" is actually nothing more than an indefinable, syrupy concoction.
The bottle, as well as the entire presentation, are extremely cheap.
Cheap is also the price, not even €7; it becomes clear that only the cheapest chemical ingredients have been used. Anyone expecting more here can only be disappointed...
