An old man's smell
A weird fragrance, powdery and somewhat spicy yet very sour and medicinal. In general, this scent feels forced, stressed and shrunken, yet piercing somehow. Sometimes people talk about old men's smells and this is the closest to that description I've experienced so far. To do justice, it does have a vital component which emerges with time, it's warm and spicy. I wouldn't be surprised if Lagerfeld smelled like this himself, although black clothes and the black bottle don't really fit the scent. I see the color for it as silver or gray with light violet or possibly yellow.
If you want better alternatives, this perfume is not very far away from Azzaro Wanted or Invictus. I consider it a botched implementation of that archetype, too powdery, dry, and sour. It is also kind of similar to Burberry London, but lacking its warmth and depth.
Longevity is good, way above average.
