Insider's tip
I don't want to go into too much detail, but this fragrance is an absolute classic among the Fougères. Everything suits my taste. I add sage and ambergris to the fragrances given here. So I perceive these, but I can be wrong. But with the low price I think it's a synthetic replacement for ambergris. I already think it's a pity that this fragrance didn't make it into the main stream, but on the other hand it has something good about it, because if you know and appreciate the fragrance, you don't belong to the broad masses and are quite often asked about it. I am in possession of a 7ml sample bottle of the original from 1984 and recently a 100ml bottle of a younger product. Personally, I think the younger version is better because it doesn't smell so "colognig" to me and therefore can be "worn" by younger men. My collection is quite large and I only wear fragrances for a certain period of time because I find it a pity when the mucous membranes in my nose have become accustomed to the fragrance and you only perfume yourself to please others. I want to smell it myself. I don't know why I'm only now getting back to Dunhill Edition, but he's got something special. Can't get enough of smelling me right now...

Firecracker
I stumbled across this fragrance a few weeks ago by pure chance. I've been strolling in the miller's valley with a colleague at noon in Munich. Thought you might try some new perfumes. After some scents I thought to myself "OK, nothing that convinces you" and then I said to myself, "that one" still tries now. Purely intuitive. Result: 50 ml Joop Absolute are mine. Now that I'm not the expert at scent decomposition, all I'm saying is, firecracker. Similar to Terre d'Hermes, this scent had something attractive about me. A "I want to smell more" and above all "must have". Try it, you'll feel it. One's yes, the other's no.

An absolute gentleman
I am still not the type who can decompose fragrances into their components. I can only describe fragrances according to my impressions. Since a few days I am in the possession of two 30 ml pouring bottles of this fragrance. The scent has something, something special. Definitely for more mature gentlemen, but at what age "maturity" begins, everyone is free. For me, this fragrance is an expression of the true gentleman. A man who likes a certain etiquette. Wearing elegant cufflinks to his shirt with cuffs. A man who holds the lady's door open. Upstairs behind the lady goes, but and this is the adventurous thing about this scent, not too fine is to change the flat tire of his vehicle itself. Elegant roughneck, I'd say

Evergreen
I first came into contact with this fragrance in 1990. I was infected from the beginning and I still wear it today. Although it is a synthetic fragrance, it radiates freedom, adventure, wilderness and nature better than most natural fragrances. I'm not the type to break down and define a perfume by its ingredients. What counts for me is the overall impression and here it is perfect for me. I'm not interested in what you can taste out of a wine, as long as it works and this perfume works. One more, the other less.
