Paper strip yay, skin nay

Oof, not for me.

I'll start by saying that this was smelling promising on the paper strip, but once I sprayed it on skin it went in a different direction. Maybe it just doesn't work on me.

I don't get anything floral, but I do get a weird synthetic mix of greenness and some citrus. Maybe some florals in the drydown but idk, it feels like I'm "searching" for them.
Reminds me of toilet cleaners and not in a good way, but in a stenchy way.

Performance is okay. Moderate projection and it stays on for a while.

Bottle is beautiful and I prefer it over the opaque ones from the same line.

cheerful Mimosa - not at all mimosalike

Whether it smells of mimosas in "Via Fiori Oscuri" in Milan, I cannot say...
"Le Vie di Milano - Walking on Via Fiori Oscuri | Trussardi" - the new fragrance from Trussardi, is truly a mimosa dream.

The mimosa is a small, woody shrub. It delights with its extraordinary and delicate (sun)ray yellow (or other colored) flowers and its leaves, which often behave "mimosalike" and fold up when touched - since then, the word has served as a designation for sensitive and/or oversensitive people. Mimosas - who doesn't know them, especially from the "friendly" use of colloquial language.
Personally, the mimosa radiates cheerfulness, lightness, and a certain sensitivity. I remember the beautiful oil paintings that my grandfather always painted with devotion. Mimosas were among his preferred subjects. I really like them.

So how does this mimosa smell?

The subtle scent of the mimosa is fluffy, powdery, floral, green, and warm at the same time. It reminds one of honey and a bit of straw. It is a fresh fragrance, feels delicate, yet remains elegant. The note of mimosa shines while simultaneously appearing soft and cosmetic. One must really like powdery and slightly herbal scents.

"Le Vie di Milano - Walking on Via Fiori Oscuri | Trussardi" smells to me like a huge bouquet of mimosas. These are clearly detectable right from the start. But just as distinctly, there are also individual citrus sprinkles. Among the mimosa bushes, some heliotrope stems, small pink mini roses, and an opulent magnolia blossom are arranged. However, they only attach themselves to the mimosa like a shy little sister.
A faint green veil wafts by now and then, but it does not sustainably influence the predominant scent experience.
Rice powder in the base adds extra powderiness and milky creaminess. Even the listed vanilla and tonka bean provide only a little support, but never take the pole position.

It is a thoroughly cheerful spring messenger, floral, feminine, and powdery green with a cheeky yet delicate sweetness.
I really like Walking on Via Fiori Oscuri.
The fragrance is labeled as "unisex." However, I find it really very feminine.
The longevity is quite okay, otherwise it might seem too intrusive. The sillage is limited. The price, however, is outrageous. Nevertheless, Trussardi has created a wonderful fragrance experience here.

Citrusy notes overshadowed by loud Lilybelle-"lilies of the valley". Plus a sunny yellow sea of mimosa blossoms - warm + powdery. Spring on the Côte d'Azur.
