It's time to take a closer look at one of my favorite fragrances and share my opinion about it. First of all, I love this fragrance but rarely wear it because I need the mood for it.
The packaging of "Collection Extraordinaire - Orchid Leather | Van Cleef & Arpels" is quite simple and spartan, but still beautiful, which is a bit of a minor matter because it's all about the contents. Inside the packaging is a typical VC&A bottle, in opaque black and of course with the trim on it that we all love so much ;)
Now to the good little water itself...
This smoky, liqueur-like plum, with slightly spicy leather and vanilla in the drydown is just my taste. Wicked, darkly sweet, boozy. The color of the bottle describes the fragrance pretty well and I think the scent goes well with an all black outfit and definitely with a leather jacket, even in winter.
At the moment, the fragrance accompanies me from fall into the winter months where it also fits perfectly, spring and summer I would rather give him a vacation.
In short: the fragrance is fantastic, it lasts like a bomb, the sillage is just right and I think the price is more than fair for this quality.

ATH has really conjured up something fine here with the "Tabac / Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla | Aaron Terence Hughes" in my eyes. Many say nothing special but I like the scent in the fall/winter time. It's a mix of familiar ingredients that don't seem extraordinary at first, but in this composition it's still one of the most pleasant perfumes I've ever smelled in this category.

I find that when it's cold, the vanilla tobacco stands out and that's what I think makes this fragrance so good. It smells warm, pleasantly woody with tobacco and this sweet vanilla is the "cherry" on top.

"Tabac / Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla | Aaron Terence Hughes" is not a fragrance you would associate with teenagers, but I think any age group can wear it perfectly. The fragrance is suitable for almost all situations, if you dare with this strong sillage and durability! (On a side note, my partner finds it too strong with more than 2 sprays)

I hope the fragrance stays with us for a longer period of time and the availability improves again so that even more people can enjoy testing it.

It's that time again and I'm trying to bring you closer to a fragrance I've come to love, "Just Roulette | LEN - Histoire Privée".

The first thing I did when the fragrance arrived was to look at the very nice packaging. The slipcase in which the box is kept simple despite the illustrations, the box itself is sturdy and the bottle is firmly enclosed in a cut-out, so far so good.
The bottle is kept simple, with 2 darkened glass walls on the sides (like the others in the series) and the well-fitting magnetic cap has a logo on the top. The glass feels sturdy and of high quality and the bottle has a very good sprayer with a good spray mist.

Now we come to the fragrance that is at home in this bottle.
I find the fragrance clean, fresh and summery and it is definitely unisex. The tangy grapefruit, a beautiful iris note and the woods are clear to smell and despite the linear progression, the fragrance is always pleasant to wear. But now we have arrived at the point that gives my review its title. I have to say that there is sometimes more and sometimes less in terms of durability and sillage and I don't feel as if it's due to fragrance blindness. But I accept the whole thing because I love the "Just Roulette | LEN - Histoire Privée" by now.

A small and nasty aftertaste is also the rather high price (everyone defines that for themselves) that the brand charges for the water, which I think could be improved.

All in all, a great fragrance from a brand that I think still flies under the radar of many in Germany...
