Classic Oud+Roses
Mancera Gold is in the Oud+Roses category.

Opens with a citric burst that remains for a few minutes.

After that joins a spicy and sweet roses accord.

Finally there comes the oud and amber, with a tiny musk note.

Reminds me of many other Rose+Oud fragrances, but this is more a gourmand fragrance than these other compositions are.

Smells like a semi-sweet version of Red Aoud. Less sweet and less intensive. No medicinal smell at all.

Also very similar to Roseaoud & Musc from same brand.

Sillage, lasting power and projection are high.

A Familiar Oud
I truly hate starting fragrance reviews with "this smells like..." but, boy oh boy does this open up like Atelier's Rose Anonyme! How does it differ? Mancera's Gold Intensive Oud introduces a lemon note and aquatic accord, which makes the entire duration of this fragrance significantly brighter. The white musk also changes the contrast. Teakwood gives the drydown an edge most rose & oud compositions don't have. Gold Intensive Aoud is well made, but does not stand out in a market oversaturated in rose & oud.

Sensitive Aoud would be more sensible
And the award for the most misleading name goes to... Mancera - Gold Intensitive Aoud!

Because there is nothing intense here, and very little that is golden. In fact, it is just another fragrance with the typical Mancera/Montale rose, almost a duplicate of, for example, Roseaoud&Musc. Why do we need so many similar perfumes? Why does a brand take so few risks and rely on the tried and true? No one knows.

The oud is very delicate, the rose is soft & creamy, the image is truly beautiful... but not for the tenth time! This is simply unnecessary, especially since the green morning dew aspect only peeks through minimally at the beginning... if only this bright flash had been enhanced & brought more prominently into the light - all clear, a very fine variation on the theme. As it stands, it is a fine theme, but not a variation, rather an unembellished tracing. Not embarrassing, because no one can forbid you to copy yourself, but annoying & lacking in ideas. Therefore, my rating keeps dropping... even if that is somewhat unfair to the compositions alone. But you shouldn’t just look at the percentage but also read my texts ;-)

Bottle: still impressive when held!
Sillage & Longevity: a refined, tuned all-rounder, I would say... good 8 hours of longevity.

Conclusion: familiar picture, still pretty... but it has become quite tiresome for me! For example, my Intense Cafe is enough for me, which also smells extremely similar after just a few minutes & offers more facets.

When You Don't Know Exactly
For a few hours now, I have had "Gold Intensive Aoud" on my inner wrist. I applied it, noted my first impressions, and then got on with other tasks, but the scent kept rising to my nose, I smelled my wrist, and made notes.
Somehow, I detected something tingling and thought: I'm smelling something lemony again, it can't be. Even though I really like this fresh green scent.
Better I describe how the progression was for me:
At first, I smelled citrusy, slightly fruity notes, very pleasant. Then came a resinous, bitter, and slightly smoky wave of scent that became balsamic, almost sweet. I perceived beautiful wood and a moderate oud.
While I was busy with other things, this lemony-melissa and slightly minty yet creamy scent blend kept rising to my nose, gently tingling, fresh. As it progressed, "Gold Intensive Aoud" became more harmonious, rounder, but also more lovely; I smelled a relatively faint green rose, and additionally, creaminess was added. I judged it to be a rather feminine scent with a moderate oud note. I write this down sequentially. However, one ingredient blends into another, resulting in an increasingly complex fragrance. Nevertheless, "Gold Intensive Aoud" is not a complicated perfume with infinitely many facets.
Finally, I came to the point of discussing "Gold Intensive Aoud" here.
I read: Morning dew. To be honest, I find that listed as a scent note quite silly.
In an advertisement, it was written that the writers of "Gold Intensive Aoud" had the association of freshness and coolness during the morning dew phase in the early hours, yes, that can be understood. Moving on:
I noticed lemon in the opening. I perceived the woods, unnamed resins, the rose, and the white musk with its creaminess. After a few hours, the creaminess turns into a light dry powdery note. And now I also know that I am smelling correctly: rose geranium.
Because a few days ago, I bought a scented geranium from my gardener.
It hasn't bloomed yet. But when I asked him about it, he showed me several unbloomed scented geraniums.
One had feathery leaves and was what I know as lemon balm geranium. I was allowed to break off one of the relatively fuzzy leaves, and by rubbing it, I smelled: Exactly, it smells like lemon balm and also like geranium.
I chose one with smooth leaves, which doesn’t have such a strong lemon balm scent and from whose flowers I hope to get a fine fragrance. A little lemony, fresh, cinnamon-like, a touch of incense, and a fine clove scent with floral accords, this is how these scented geraniums can smell. I can't describe it that precisely, and they smell a bit different every year.
And it is exactly this scented geranium scent that I smell in "Gold Intensive Aoud." This makes the fragrance so fresh and uplifting until the end.
And this fresh minty-melissa scent may make the fragrance pleasant for men despite its sweetness.
The longevity and sillage are good.

Oud-Rose Spectacle in the Cold Desert!
I received the perfume as a gift from my esteemed mother. However, it took me a relatively long time to realize what a wonderful treasure it truly is!

Scent:

Oud is not for everyone, and this fragrance is no different. It smells very dark, intense, and typically of oud, possibly a bit spicy, but especially smoky, yet high-quality and not strongly synthetic. In my opinion, it is not suitable for all occasions and every clothing style, rather more for colder days.

Sillage:

I have had and know of no fragrance that lasts longer and is noticeable to others on me, even in summer, like this perfume. For example, I have worn several fragrances at work, and none have prompted anyone to comment, except for this one. It is truly long-lasting, which may be typical for oud fragrances.

Value for Money:

Quality has its price ;-)

Conclusion: Oudy, golden, and long-lasting!

Info: In the cold, it unfolds with an oud-rose spectacle like on a full moon and desert sand. Very high-quality scent!

Mostly dark rose and ambery musk. It has a cold sharp texture.
Pretty feminine. Feeling a bit unfamiliar rather than unique.

Very nice citrussy oud with rose and not so animalic. I find similiarities with Fars and it only costs the half of that. Will last long !

Soft, sweet-fresh, and cozy rose-oud with a slight hint of iodine/operating room. Beautifully aloof. Has charm, but can be annoying too.

Subtle "Roses Musk" mixed with "Aoud Flowers"! An elegant cuddle, soft-ambiguous, bright-floral with a delicate animal note. A fine all-rounder.

Starts citrusy, fruity-(geranium), becomes smoky, resinous-bitter, beautiful wood, mild oud, fresh, then the lovely green rose finally appears.
