Stiff Breeze
Although this is my first time in New York this year, I didn’t make it to Shelter Island. After all, there was plenty to see in the city center. But I can’t imagine associating this scent with the New York surroundings. With this fragrance, I envision a North Sea holiday. A constant cool breeze that can occasionally turn into a real wind. Along with the salt-laden air. A hint of seaweed scent, but only subtle. Simply wonderful. Of course, a bit of spice is also essential. This is perfectly balanced and supports the marine scent beautifully. I can’t comment on how the Bond fragrances are otherwise - this is my first. But it is absolutely successful!!!!

The Lightness of Being
When I got home today after a really stressful day, I found the package left by the postman with "Ombrella Crash," which I ordered for my sharing. Whoosh, package opened and the scent applied. And what can I say; The stress was gone. This fragrance manages to harmoniously combine wonderful scent directions, and it has a sillage that is always noticeable but never intrusive. Delightfully light, the combination of fruit with flowers is genius. The aquatic element is present but never dominant. For me, this scent is a little work of art.....

The 80s
Hmmm, 84, what do I think of? First of all, that I was still far too young for perfumes back then. I wasn't even a teenager yet. At that time, life just passed me by. As a child, you didn't really care about any trends. Strangely enough, the 80s became incredibly trendy ten years later. I believe there wasn't a Friday when I didn't go to my favorite disco for the legendary 80s party. The music from that era was just too great. But now to the scent. I can't really connect this wonderful perfume to the 80s. The approach of Summer of 84 is too fruity. The scent is, in my opinion, pure grapefruit with a few other fragrances rounding it out. But very harmonious. Strangely, this scent lasts longer than expected. A true summer fragrance that doesn't want to be anything else. Perfect for hot days. Somehow also one of those scents that smells like you could drink it :-). However, I wouldn't recommend that. The bottle is typically kerosene-like and looks great.
Attention: the fragrance is limited and probably only available until early September.

Mist - Always These Samples
Yes, as it often goes, it all started again with a cursed sample. Unbeknownst to me, I selected 3 suitable sample scents from a perfume mail-order company. Without thinking much about it, I unfortunately also chose one from New Study Postcard. A few days later, I held the sample in my hands with the thought "could be quite a nice summer scent." Then I made the second big mistake (the first was ordering the samples): I sprayed the sample on. And forget about "quite a nice summer scent" - I was caught again. First, tropical fruits and flowers. Not clearly definable, but good. And from the very beginning, a brilliant bitter scent note. Then there was also a mix that I couldn't really decipher, a blend of flowers, green, tropical fruits, a hint of coconut, and always that bitter-herb tone present. But it was all perfectly balanced. For me, it's a perfect summer everyday scent that surely only a few will wear. Now I need more. And once again, a small inconspicuous sample drives me to spend a lot of money on a beautiful hobby. But I must admit, I will also be glad for all the samples in the future...

Sparkling Lemonade
I am in a really good mood. This may be partly because I took a day off today to enjoy the beautiful weather. But it’s certainly also due to this brilliant fragrance. When I first sprayed this scent, I thought of a freshly poured glass of Fanta Orange - incredibly fruity and sparkling. The good mood really washes over you. Even after an hour, the fragrance remains incredibly fruity. For such a perfume, I find the sillage and longevity extremely unusual. Usually, fruity scents are relatively weak after 1-2 hours and nearly gone after 4 hours. That is not the case here. It maintains its intensity for the first 4 hours almost unchanged. After that, it slowly diminishes, but it is still noticeable after 7-8 hours. In terms of its sparkle (not the scent itself), it reminds me a bit of light Wackelwasser. However, Tropicalia is much fruitier. I can’t imagine wearing this scent on bad days or in winter; it’s simply perfect for spring and especially for summer. And even though there aren’t really any masculine notes in it, I find it very wearable as a man on warm days. So, now just one glass of real Fanta and then grab my swimming gear and off to the outdoor pool ;-). Continuing to enjoy the good mood.....
