The alcoholic note already has something medically salty that does not suit this fragrance at all. It is a series of aquatic and herb notes which are not so well balanced that they are pleasant to wear. In the end it just smells like a better aftershave, which has ventured into the spicy corner.
Especially if you know the other scents of Kilian, he is completely out of the line, although he is already in the line "fresh" with others. But here is nothing new, nothing unknown, nothing that makes other Kilian fragrances special.
If then the price comes to speech, then one will demonstratively decline even as a Niche-lover, because even with much pleasant thoughts this smell would hardly find in a collection

Too bad, next time please better and rather a direction like Allure L´Homme Sport Edition Blanche, in an even creamier version.

No troublesome companion who leaves you alone in the important moments, NO, a friend who invites you to a cup of caramel coffee at the barista's and gives you the feeling of having a particularly good taste. A gourmand palate that takes you on a journey and caresses you for hours. A journey that takes you around the world, feels like it, and from the best countries, pouches a gift and surprises you in the end. Caribbean rum, Brazilian or Ethiopian coffee, Cuban sugar cane, caramel from the best patisseries and freshly brewed milk from the barista machine. It could look something like that. Now to the hard, or in this case soft, facts. Black Phantom is horny - not to say super horny. Something that you don't get under your nose every day and that you also have to deal with. First of all, I ordered the fragrance directly after the test with a bottling. But why spend 260 Euro for the box with a nice skull box or 130 Euro for the Travelpack ! Well, that's partly due to his great development. My start started with a rum note, sugar and a hint of coffee. After a few minutes the coffee gets stronger and stronger and combines with a kind of milk note. So we have already put something together in the direction of Irish Coffee. This smell then lasts for some time until the whole thing turns into a viscous caramel mass. I've read some people say the drydown looks a little rubbery. I couldn't find that out, because the last notes in my music are the mentioned caramel streams.

Anyone travelling towards Gourmand should test this fragrance despite its price. Simply testing is enough, because a soft and sweet composition with a coffee-rum note does not occur too often. A pleasure before the black Phantom gentleman

This is how you can imagine this fragrance and not differently. Because the only notes that are reflected on the skin from spray on to the wonderful end after more than 8 hours are these two: Vanilla and rum. This may sound monotonous at first glance and not show the price of the fragrance either. However, this is such a great, pleasant and soft scent that you would like to absorb it. You have to love these kinds of alcoholic notes, but they never get too aggressive. Much more it is a sweet-sweet, liqueur-like and woody collaboration that makes this perfume so intense. In addition this high-quality working vanilla note, which brings up memories of so many holiday memories.

I myself wondered whether this fragrance is worth the price, because 260 euros is a lot of money. That it is a limited edition may explain it a little, as well as the pricing policy of the previous Kilian fragrances. That's why everyone has to test this fragrance in some way. At that time I ordered a sample from the USA for a lot of money, because there was a shop selling samples. The first time I sprayed on it I was disappointed. But when I spread the scent on my skin for the second and third day, I fell more and more in love with this duo of vanilla and rum. The fact that no development is taking place here has disturbed me and has not disturbed me to this day, as I know what I am getting. It's one of the best fragrances I've ever had on my skin, a magic you wouldn't expect. On the one hand one can say that it smells too alcoholic, but who loves this kind will find salvation here. Please do not compare this to the normal Straight to Heaven, as the rum note is much more pronounced here.

Another surprise purchase, which I found a few years ago while browsing through different perfumeries. The result is the same as with other adventures in the land of scents: the bottle landed full of enthusiasm in my hand, at the checkout and then correspondingly on my neck. Then as now for me a revelation, since one can hardly resist this spicy-leathery scent. I say right at the beginning that I don't find the extreme that appeared after that nearly as good as the original EdT. This is partly because the extreme on my skin was much more aggressive in character and gave me a trace of too much spice. Surely we are the opposite for other people, so I can only speak of my own experience.
The fact that this fragrance is regarded as very peppery is only partly true. It is clear that at the beginning he fires a full portion of alcoholic sounds with a pepper explosion from the spray head. After a few moments, the alcohol note changes into a spiciness that comes along with cinnamon, clove and other woody notes. Plus a hint of citrus.
In the course of the hours the smell becomes clearly milder and more pleasant. The final notes tend to leather, cinnamon and recurring pepper. A smell that you have to get involved with and test before. For untrained scent lovers surely a trace too violently.

The famous infamous limited edition fragrance by Tom Ford, which is talked about by many people who deal with fragrances and which is said to be so good that it does not come from this world. Now that you finally have him standing in front of you, you can only agree with any critic who praises this fabulous fragrance. Simply different, fascinating and extremely surprising. The enumeration of the components that this fragrance unites already seems to give you an indication of what you are dealing with here. With nothing but a sweet-spicy-soft and creamy fragrance explosion that seeks its equal.
If you want to give the fragrance a direction, you could say that it reminds you of a body cream from the blue metal can. However, this would be too simple, too primitive and in no way do justice to the fragrance. Because the magical takes place only after some wearing time, which gives the smell the possibility to unfold fully and to throw all nuances into the air. Because while the first moment is actually reminiscent of the body cream mentioned above, after a few seconds a sweet-creamy powder develops that no Prada or Valentino can manage. The best thing about it is that the perfume gets better and better after hours as an ever more intense vanilla-almond composition comes to the fore. Simply heavenly, also because the shelf life is beyond 7 hours.

A great unisex fragrance that lives up to its name and where every spray on the skin feels very luxurious, as if you are refining your skin with a precious good.
