My colleague thinks it’s an old man’s fragrance. I cannot confirm this. I find it to be a suitable everyday scent from start to finish. When you don’t know what to spray in the morning... this one always works. The sillage is designed so that it can be perceived very well for several hours. The fragrance is very linear, meaning it hardly changes over time. As for the bottle: typical Amouage, just like all the other scents in the line, it’s an eye catcher. :-)

So this is the famous one and one of the highest-rated perfumes here. Forgive me for not having a trained nose and not being able to pick out all the notes!! I will try to evaluate it as best as I can. Up until the moment I smelled it, I only knew the designer world from the turquoise branches. I became aware of this scent, of course, through the parfumo community. So I quickly got a sample and tested it. When I first smelled it, I thought to myself: okay.... Very unusual.... But by no means bad. Throughout the day, I tested and smelled it several times. Due to the positive comments here, I ordered it shortly after. I had never encountered such prices for a perfume until then. Now, about a year after the purchase, reality sets in. It is definitely a good scent, but somehow not wearable for me... I wouldn't know when. The scent: Spicy, dry, dusty. So I can understand the connection to the desert.
Longevity: At least 10 hours for me
Sillage: Very well noticeable.
