A sweet smiling Javanese Lady with a warm story without timeline nor location
An misty breeze of sweet coco is leading right of the bat, followed by an in tone natural green note with a lemon hint coming from the back beatifully in the centre.
But the Opening isn't quit done nor is the assembling complete, because here comes the Bamboo from out of the nowhere and is professionally right in line with the rest as the lemon note is slowly making place for it. ( At this point the intimate sillage is at it's sharpest to turn nicely in unison ).
There is a fluent instant understandable development that the perfumeur is trying to smell-tell it's wearer with delicacy of sniffing, thinking, sniffing and thinking.
After about 40 min. it settles more on the skin and it gets obvious that the scent profile has bin established annd won't give more surprising develpoment.
Now it's just the performance and enjoyment to personally look out for.
This is an if-it-checks-your-boxes perfume which is not for everyone, rather for the introvert grounded person.
If you can try a sample, it can be an nice travel from wherever you are if you like Coconut or bamboo.

A cheeky smile from high out the castle of lord Carlisle
Around this period many has bin discussed and shared about this fragrance's opening to drydown.
Till this point I had no interest or opinion about it, simply due to that I did'nt had the intention to buy it.
This week I did had the oppertunity to swap it with 'Cedrat Boise' and thought why not collectors sake.
And today I sprayed it as adviced 1 and 2 sprays on the neck and 1 and 2 sprays on wrists ( not adviced), but I forgot the advice not to smell it before 2 hours, whereby the course of the drydown would start to settle in.
First of all let me state: I believe that the first- split- sniff within the opening can be experienced as an positive joyable introduction in overall.
If one is strongly familiar with PDM's Carlisle, it could be an Quality-to-personal quality inner conflict later depending on what one has spend on this fragrance!
As I've made the mistake to smell myself within the timeframe of 2 hours, I noticed the unpleasant experience that many have mentioned in short and detailed across the net.
I have the urge to rub sweet oil in my nose holes as it feels ash dry, but then is it so or is it my mind being manipulated to assume so? What was the storyset of the perfumeur to create this? Batman trainings to Bruce Wayne dinings?
So I got outside my cave and made a round to the City to experience if it would be less unpleasant............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................sniff - sniff... nope, still....
Fastforward I distracted my thoughts with other sends and bon bon chocolates while for the first time thought of sincerely rubbing of a scent.
As the shops closed and the cold wind was motivating me to go back home I was at ease again with no interverence of the sillage.
Eventually back at home when I almost forgot about it an thus lease expected it, there was an like new cinnamon light like smell.
Not pleasing but surely not unpleasant as before, so this is the moment I've bin waiting for?
At an certain point does the transition to this fase seems rather instantly then fluently, what mindfucks the anticipation.
At this point I am like this is not the perfume for my kind of personality in this time of my life, and that comes from a person with some patience.
I haven't had the oppertunity yet to be on the other side and smell it as one of the crowed ( I do would like to enjoy the drydown on someone going by ).

But overall I gave it an 7

A- HEAD of it's time in the nineties as the A- team in the eighties

The name evoked a memory of my childhood begin 90's in my uncle's barbershop, where I would always choose the Coco Rico soda.
The bottle evoked a comparison to a Moorish head symbol.
Then this scent evoked a vision of a masculine embraced male who couldn't care less about being criticized by the noise an unheard herd.

Knowing that this scent hasn't bin produced in a long time and the quality of the DNA is still undeniable man.
If I could only time travel back to smell the scent's power at it's peak with having in mind that it would stay a unique gem to behold.

You either love it or puff it.
