red glowing ruby
once again I encounter the incredibly great quality of Nebiru. A wonderful composition. More restrained than other fragrances from the brand. Beautifully intertwined. Wonderfully wearable.

The initial impression gives me rum, cola, cinnamon right away. I really like that. So natural and delicious. I would love to have a glass of Cuba Libre right now.
In addition, the fragrance gives me something very creamy, soft. Something with a reddish shimmer. I perceive a slightly floral note, a hint of incense. Something very subtly mineral and wonderful oud. Very woody, soft, and warm. Absolutely no barnyard. Just oud at its finest.

The composition is truly incredibly well done and I really like it a lot.

Thank you very much for these wonderful, new impressions.

true fairground
First of all, the quality is truly top-notch.
The opening hits you with the Assam, and you really have to like it. Definitely not for Oud beginners (I think many newcomers would describe it as very stinky.). The quality of the Assam Oud is incredibly good. Additionally, the scent in the opening is dry, warm, and very woody. What really takes center stage is the Assam Oud. I also perceive this oily, petrol-like component of the Assam. The other notes round it out and don't come through as strongly for me. In the drydown, I can then very distinctly pick up the juniper. It gives the whole thing a bit of a coniferous forest vibe. The Assam Oud becomes softer and the "stinky" aspect recedes. All in all, a really very high-quality, beautifully composed Oud fragrance that transforms wonderfully.

the royal temple of the orient
and once again we (the perfumer of these amazing scents and I) spent our lunch break together in our favorite cigar lounge, enjoying a great Cuban cigar during a relaxed discussion. We gladly used the time for our shared passion for "amazing scents." Here, I had the luck to get my hands on a fantastic fragrance from "Nebiru." It was String Theory Extrait as a perfume spray. For me, this was a special honor, as it is sold out and I was able to learn the story behind it. So I was very curious about what awaited me.

I sprayed this scent directly onto my skin. With such natural fragrances, this is truly the best thing you can do. What can I say, "bäääähhhhmmm, what is this!?" Just wow. I absolutely did not expect that. Until now, I was not familiar with the individual fragrance notes. So it was time to let the scent unfold and let my thoughts wander.

On the first sniff, I get something incredibly fruity, dense, and absolutely natural. Sweet, yes, but really very natural and not too sweet. Until now, I only knew overly sweet or rather artificial "oriental" scents. This one has truly shown me a new kind of sweetness. Fantastic. The scent is so rounded and dense that it creates such a harmonious composition. I am always very cautious with rose and iris, as they often become too much, too old, too kitschy, or something else for me. But here, simply wonderfully intertwined and in no way too much or intense. The roses and the blue lotus are wonderful and provide a light floral touch without being really floral. The ouds are beautifully combined and woven together. There is absolutely no sign of barnyard oud. Just a wonderful woodiness that you can enjoy. Hyrax, musk, civet, all animalic notes. But even here, so finely and beautifully intertwined that this animalic aspect rather rounds it off and embraces you, connecting with you to form a veil.

What lingers in my nose the whole time is an animal, somehow something dark and leathery. Not the usual animalic scent, no, an animal, but without being really recognizably animalic. It is wonderful and quite extraordinary. Here too, I learned how this "animalic" aspect comes about.

I must say that the perfume spray is brighter, more open, and radiates more. The animalic aspect comes through more as well. Whether attar or spray is ultimately a matter of taste. I find both wonderful. Currently, I own the "String Theory (Attar) | Nebiru Parfvms." The longevity is again from another planet. The quality is, of course, outstanding here as well.

Many thanks to Frederic for the experience.
