I'm happy that I've finally found a Acqua di Giò that I love, but I'm sorry to say, it's probably the one I love, because it's the one that's the least Acqua di Giò of the line. Bought it right after testing it.
First it starts as a really obvious and natural mandarin + an oceanic/salty feel. A couple minutes after, a green, floral, sweet, and slightly powdery note starts to appear. It kinda gives me "Greener Invictus Aqua / Invictus Parfum" vibes at this point, but it's not an obvious similarity, just this citric, marine and sweet tone.
It's deep, slightly playful, may give some male shower gel energy at some points, but It will get deeper and richer. it's really well done and it's a fun one to smell.
After a couple hours, it loses a bit of this citric + bright florals part, and it becomes a little bit darker, earthy... Kind of salty honeyed flowers, if that makes sense? Reminds me of Tom Ford Costa Azzura Parfum here.
Longevity is good, but it's true that this is far from the EdP sillage.
I did not have the issues people mentioned of it being different on my skin. Guess I got lucky with my skin chemistry here?
Versatility wise, all seasons except maybe winter for me. Also I would avoid more than 3 sprays in a really hot summer day.
Bottle is beautiful, specially when it gets some light through it, but it's a fingerprint magnet.

Modernised, but not the same
This one starts super spicy. If the EDP was similar to Spicebomb Extreme, this one is even closer to it during the first hour.
Compared to the original, I'd say this one is spicier, less Iris and something that feels to me like a... resinous vanilla or cinnamon at the base? Forget about the leather, the tobacco, and the rum, It's no longer here.
Definitely feels like someone in Bvlgari went through all the "This feels like an ashtray" type of comments of the EDP, and decided to remake the original fragrance for today's market.
If you want more sillage (1-2h, then stays close), compliments, and duration... get this one. I don't want to say the other one is obsolete, but, I find it hard to see people going for the EDP when this one is next to it unless they love the tobacco note or they want a more mature scent.
I find the OG a more interesting pick, but, this one will work better on the market and for the average buyer.

Regal
This is a simple yet beautiful scent. Made for every day, for the office, to hang out, to go on a date with your favourite person.
It's clean, it's elegant, almost regal in a way, it will make you stand out from many other smells of the type. The Akigalawood is the unexpected invitation to the party, but also the one that makes the event stand out and be remembered by others. And unexpected charming spice that you'll miss the more you get to know it.
I would not say this scent is loud, aggressive, or any of the similar commented below. Just learn how to wear it. Two sprays is enough for the whole day, three if you want to give that extra punch. You'll think is gone after 5-6 hours, but no, you just got used to it, just try a second sniff. This one lasts. Got a couple compliments even while I was not directly wearing it, because people in the same building could still smell it on my clothes.
Bought the 10ml version on my last trip, now I regret the decision of not buying the big one. Almost used half of it while traveling. Such a good option for a signature scent.

Good, but, not enough
First spray you can tell it's on the Y line, you get similar notes to the EDP/EDT. Then it starts to grow more woody and resinous, like, a lot. On my skin, what I feel the most is the incense/resinous vibe of this scent, which reminds me a lot of what JPG Elixir, Bad Boy Parfum and so on do with this note. It projects, not as much as other Elixirs, but more than the Y EDP, for example.
I think it is one of those that smells better in the air than in your skin. Not my favourite of the line, but it's good for special occasions and so on.

Such an spicy surprise.
I think this is what l thought Dior Homme Intense would smell like after smelling Dior Homme parfum for the first time.
Let it dry. First it's a burst of iris powder, but it will start transforming into a peppery, woody and spicy scent little by little. Performance is superb. If you completely dislike the powdery part, just try the EdT Intense.
