Well, this goes on for a while... it's Lord George and Clara who are busy with amorous activities, even if their dialogues might sound like they're from a bad comedy, but that's just the way they are. Lord George is a well-known and esteemed nobleman, Clara is a woman who often mixes with the nobility, but she is not a lady herself, because she is not noble. On the contrary, she is rather a thorn in the side of most nobles and the British royal family, because she does not behave very ladylike, as the nobles put it. She likes to have a drink, smoke, be loud and speak her mind, comparable to the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret, who was also a colourful personality and therefore a rather difficult person for some of the royal family.
Clara... cat-like graceful, but also cat-like scratchy if necessary...!

But it was precisely this wild temperament of Clara that Lord George appreciated so much about her, who did not really love his wife, Lady Blanche, anyway, and knew that she was only after his money. Clara, on the other hand, liked him just as he is, without showing any interest in his money. Even if it wasn't real love, it was still a "nice" acquaintance.

"Oh, that was great!"
"What? Just great?", asked Clara, who played the offended one.
"That was, um... purrty?"
"Okay, that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard, but at least it made me laugh!" laughed Clara.
"Well, I just love cats," Lord George smiled back.

Just when Lord George had said this, a loud meowing suddenly came from the sofa. A cat was on it and looked at Lord George expectantly.

"Hmm... "I was talking about Clara, but I love you too, my little girl."
The cat meowed again and Lord George could have sworn he heard some kind of satisfaction from the cat meowing.

"Well, Margaret is also a girl who wants to hear nice words from a fine gentleman like you," said Clara.
"Your cat's name is Margaret? Named after THE Margaret?", the Lord asked in surprise.
"That's right, Princess Margaret!"
"I see." Lord George said, smiling
"What's so funny?" hissed Clara.
"Nothing, except that you two have a lot in common and you are rebellious women," Lord George said, "And damned attractive you both are too!"
"Oh," said Clara, "now you're interested in the princess too!"
"Just a little bit, perhaps!" Lord George laughed.
"Uh-huh... but I can do things that probably not even the princess can do!", Clara replied snippily.

But before Lord George could ask what she meant, she grabbed him again and put him in a position that was unfamiliar to him.
"Um... okay, that's new!" he said.
"You have no idea!" she giggled..

... and while the two of them, much to the annoyance of Lady Blanche presumably, continue to devote themselves to certain activities, in which Clara seems to take the lead all the time, I prefer to come to the fragrance dedicated to this woman, who is also considered to be a rebel.

Rum and vanilla have an effect right from the start and smell fantastic. The cinnamon, which is much less noticeable, nevertheless gives the scent a certain pungency or spiciness, which goes well with vanilla and rum. However, the cinnamon disappears quite quickly.
I also have the feeling that a slight tobacco leaf note seems to be in play.
In any case, the scent actually remains only vanilla and rum (later, of course, only vanilla), with both light amber and a slightly earthy patchouli in the base.
An altogether wonderful, powdery sweetish scent.

The sillage here is quite strong, so that one leaves a good scent cloud with which one can smell well.
The shelf life is also quite good and the fragrance lasts for more than ten hours.

The bottle!
The bottle is similar to the normal Penhaligon's bottles, as it is also cylindrical. Although the shape varies slightly from the normal flacons, the most striking feature is the golden cap, which shows a different animal head in all the portrait fragrances. Here you can see the head of a

Clara had to laugh out loud. However, Margaret actually looked over at them all the time, albeit with a slightly bored, expressionless expression. Or she didn't want to let it be known that while Clara and George were "busy" she had thrown the car keys, an empty glass in which rum had been filled shortly before and the ashtray with the remains of the expensive cigars from the small side table next to the sofa down to the floor... which cats always do...

"Great, now I feel observed, and somehow caught in the act!" wailed Lord George amused.
"Well, I really should feed her before she knocks over any more stuff," Clara said.
"Do that, and I'd better get back home before Blanche finally flips out! I have a feeling she's gonna kill me one of these days...!" ...

Which Lord George was not wrong about, since Lady Blanche was actually already planning the murder of him, albeit for his money, and not because of the affair, which would only be a scandal for the British aristocracy if it came out and it was clear that Lord George was not always the fine, infallible gentleman... but that was another story....

Yeah, that scent is great, too. Rum and vanilla are great scents that fit perfectly into autumn and winter. Well, it's spring now, so you'll have to wait a little longer before you can use this scent here again, but then you'll have a wonderful scent for it, which is especially good for going out.

Strictly speaking, the scent is quite simple and therefore smells like many other well-done vanilla scents, but this one comes in a great bottle :)

Hm, what a coincidence. I'm writing my fragrance impressions on 4711 Green Tea & Bergamot and I'm actually drinking green tea. Stupidly, the bag I just fished out of the cup and wanted to wring out at the spoon falls awkwardly to the edge of the cup, slides on the outer edge and then splashes on the table, so I have to get up and get a cloth to wipe everything, both cup and table, clean, argh... how annoying that is when it happens...! :D

Anyway, now everything is clean again, so that I can continue writing!
The 4711 Acqua Colonias may not be outstanding scents, but with their wide variety of different scents and reasonable price, I think there should be something for everyone. Especially if you're looking for a fragrance in summer that you don't really want to use as a perfume, but rather for short-term refreshment, because the fragrances usually leave a fresh aura for a short time, where you often have the feeling that on extremely hot days you can somehow breathe better with the help of such a fragrance here :D

And Green Tea & Bergamot sounds quite promising! Well, for me anyway, sure... tea... what else! :D

The beginning reminds me of fresh chewing gum like these tooth-cleaning gums, whose effect is said to be quite controversial. Anyway, the scent is fresh and a bit sparkling due to the bergamot. The green tea needs a little longer to appear, but then one recognizes it well, so that here, there is already a good but rather less intensive tea note to smell. The scent also seems to have some sweet and fruity notes, I do not quite know what it could be, but a little bit the scent reminds me on peaches.
For a moment, I even thought I was testing the wrong scent and smelling the White Peach & Coriander for example! Because the tea wears off quite fast, the bergamot gets weaker, but the sweet fruity scent, which still reminds me of peaches, gets even more intense!
After the peach-like scent fades away a little bit, but the scent still reminds on these fruits and therefore smells fruity, the scent then smells a little bit like green tea for me again, but this time with an exotic/fruity taste, so that the scent of the pure and/or normal green tea is possibly a little more difficult to recognize here. Because I drink a green tea with such an exotic taste and the scent reminds me a little bit of this one.
He stays that way until the end. All in all a nice scent, whose refreshing effect might be a little less than with other colonias and which might also smell a little less like normal green tea for some people, as the sweet and fruity one reminds too much of peaches.
Much later the fragrance becomes slightly stuffy and smells of indefinable, floral-fruity notes, which is a hint for me to finally re-spray the scent.

The scent is not strong, so that it becomes a bit body-hugging soon after spraying on. It is more suitable for refreshing yourself on hot days rather than for others to notice it. But as I said before, I think that it's your own refreshment that's the point here, so I don't think it's bad that the scent is weak.
The shelf life of the product ends after about four to six hours.

The bottle!
The bottle is cylindrical and with its patterns worked into the glass has a deliberately old-fashioned cologne look, which looks nice and could possibly be described as nostalgic (although nerds like me would probably say "retro" :D). On the front you see a big green label with name and brand. The lid is cylindrical, chrome-plated and has a tube-like ring in the upper third as decoration around the lid. As I said, the bottle looks quite nice.

There, that's it. Once again a short-lived 4711 scent tested and also found to be... um... at least okay! BUT:
Somehow I can't shake the feeling that the scent has somehow missed the point. At least a little bit. Even if it smells a little bit like tea and bergamot in the beginning and later a little bit like tea again, it often turns out to be quite fruity sweet, and this even quite intense. The fruity one also reminds me very much of peaches, so that one could have called the scent Peach or something like that. Anyway, the peach scent seems very strong to me and I hope I am not mistaken here. Because of the stronger sweetness even the refreshing aspect of the scent disappears faster.

Not that you can't use it in summer, but the sparkling goes down too quickly, so other Acqua Colonias are simply more refreshing than this fragrance here.

Well, as I said, he's still nice! Apart from that there are countless Acqua Colonias, where you can surely find the right fragrance for you :)

... that spring is coming. And summer, of course. That it's finally getting warmer. Tried to comfort you because you kept whining here that it would be raining and cold all the time (well, today it's actually raining a lot again, but still... :D). But you never believed me and stared at me in disbelief when I arrived more and more with fresher scents, just to report about such summery scents.

And now? Now it's warm (as I said, aside from today's rain...), for the most part anyway,... tsss... so don't say I didn't tell you. But you guys are always whining, as we all know. Hence, I can see it coming that you guys will soon be whining that it will be TOO HOT in the summer, tss... what whiners all.

But there is also a solution for hot days fragrance-wise: Namely such fresh and loose scents like this fragrance here! Bad luck, however, if you are not necessarily on figs and something too simple scents should stand, but you should try it in any case times, I think... :D

The scent starts immediately with a nice and very authentic fruity fig, which gives off its unmistakably beautiful, but every now and then also quite slightly dry or stuffy scent. However, it is loose and light (and especially green) and just fits into the summer as well as a Parfuma in the madhouse!
He he, well anyway, the just mentioned stuffy immediately subsides, and the fragrance continues to smell like figs, and I must say, the scent is extremely reminiscent of Philosykos by Diptyque.
The scents of grape leaf and crocus mentioned in the top note, however, I can hardly perceive...
The fig smells quite long alone, only in the base come hints of woods. But otherwise it remains so and it does not change much more. The fragrance has turned out very simple, but also beautiful.

The sillage is at best below average and therefore unfortunately not very strong. You have to stand very close to the fragrance maniacs to be able to perceive the fragrance on them.
Therefore, the shelf life is also not particularly long, but rather fleeting... well well, so four to five hours are indeed in, but at these times the fragrance is really only weakly present on the skin.

The bottle is hemispherical and has facets all over it, so it looks like a fruit that's been cut in half and peeled or something. It has a light green/yellow gradient and ends with a clear rectangular lid. Now isn't that special, but still looks quite nice.

Hmmm... my first sniff immediately told me: this is Philosykos by Diptyque! Hmmm.... how awesome!!! Because I love Philosykos! And yes, the scent here is indeed stated as a twin and I can only confirm that this scent here smells almost as exact as the great scent from Diptyque. Because even with Philosykos, you basically smell only the fig the whole time, from beginning to end, and it smells fresh and green and just beautiful.

So who always liked Philosykos, but found the fragrance, which is actually quite simple, a bit expensive, finds here at the much cheaper Italian Summer Fig a great and above all equivalent alternative!

Thus, the fragrance is a great summer scent. And yes, damn it, the summer COMES CERTAINLY!!! :D Even now in April, it's supposed to be unusually warm, even up to 30 degrees in some places!!! Even though it's supposed to have rained looooong loooong and a lot today.
And even if now between the beautiful, warm days should still be some cooler ones, it will be warmer. Hot, really really hot! Puuuuh.... :D
Then you're lucky to have such loose and nice smelling fragrances that aren't heavy and are excellent to wear during the day, or even in the evening!

Oh yes, my rating reflects my preference for fig fragrances and is also so high because it really reminds me of the great Philosykos. If I were not a fig fan, the fragrance would land but because of its beautiful scent with me still so in the 7.5 - 8.0 range!

Aaaah, cake, I love cake! But somehow the love of cake seems to run in the family. If we are somewhere to visit or have visitors, or someone has a birthday or somehow such an occasion just takes place, and sitting together the first tea or coffee is served, then screams (yes really, screams!) my father immediately in the round: "Cake!".

Stupid only that one never knows whether he wants to express only his joy to the cake, or whether this should be a question whether there is also cake or even a request that one should obligingly finally serve the cake. We all just hear "CKEY!!!" :D

Well, but I'm pretty sure you guys here like cake too. The question, of course, is what kind of cake do you like, a subject on which one could certainly argue, he he he :D

I smell pretty good pistachios as well as almonds at the beginning. At first you can smell very briefly the salty scent of these nut fruits, but then it also becomes sweeter. Now it gives off a nice, powdery, milky note that smells pleasant (I'm assuming this is from the milk and iris). I can't smell the dates, honey might be present, but I would say the scent is just sweet without really being able to smell the honey exactly now. Possibly you could compare the scent to milk with honey or something, at least with a little imagination.
Only a little later comes so a pastry-like or cake-like note to the fore, where you could think of cake. This could then well be the cereals.
Anyway, the fragrance remains sweetish, creamy-powdery and gourmandig also in the base. In the base, there is still stated ambrette seed, but I feel as if I smell rather still musk.
Much later, the fragrance actually smells only powdery and iris, which is also very nice, only this phase no longer further reminds me of cake.

For a gourmandisch oriented fragrance, the sillage has not turned out so particularly strong and is therefore rather above average, which means that it is perceived from normal proximity just so a little. From a shorter distance, the perception is therefore all the better.
The shelf life is already eight hours, only the power leaves the fragrance quite quickly, so that it is already quite weak on the skin after half the time.

The fragrance comes in a metallic, deodorant can-like bottle that is white with the name of the fragrance range printed large on it in black. The name of the fragrance itself has been written in pink. Not a pretty bottle, but there seem to be glass bottles as well, as you can see in the Parfumo photos below.

Hmm... sticky cake? Nah, so despite all the sweet scent notes, I don't think the scent smells "sticky". At all, what's supposed to be sticky cake? All I know is that cake makes your hands gooey and sticky when you eat cake or pies with your hands instead of eating them civilly with a fork... like a dirty sparrow, and then vehemently refuse to wipe your hands with a napkin, preferring to lick all ten fingers... only to offer someone another piece of cake afterwards with your licked fingers... bäääh,.... And the worst thing is, I KNOW guys like that who do that, so when I eat, if I unfortunately have to eat with them, I always sit at the other end of the table, far away from them, bääääh!!!!!!!!!! :DD

In terms of type, the fragrance is a gourmand, but unlike most of these types of fragrances, it turned out a little looser and thus doesn't seem soo heavy. On not quite too hot days, he could thus also be used in the spring. Otherwise, he fits of course super in the fall.

Since he smells not bad, he is well worth a test.

Soo, let's see who's birthday is coming up... oh, my dad this time. So he will probably scream extra loud for "KUCHEN" :D

Soo... here it is, the new fragrance from Jo Malone. Or let's say one of the new fragrances, as there have been quite a few new fragrances released this year, such as the English Fields range. This fragrance here is not limited edition though, so it will be part of the whole collection.

The fragrance is called Jasmine Sambac & Marigold. The name thus announces a floral fragrance. Jasmine, well, that should be obvious what it is. By now, I even know what you can imagine by jasmine. But Marigold? So marigolds?

Well, I emphasize here again and again that I have no idea about flowers. So that I would write now, that I must google immediately times after it, what marigolds are... but HALT! I know marigolds!!! Yeah, you guys wouldn't have guessed that now would you? However, it's not like I know these flowers out of personal interest or anything, but... well, because they appear in a video game called Plants vs. Zombies, where you have to put plants in your garden to stop advancing zombies. Pea plants, for example, shoot against the zombies with just peas, watermelon plants throw watermelons, or a chili can be used to torch a whole bunch of zombies with its fiery heat, and so on... :DD

And since there are marigolds in the game, I just know what marigolds are, but I still have to admit one thing: How marigolds Smell, well that I do not really know... :D

So, somehow you don't smell anything in the top note. At least not what is stated. Because right at the beginning I perceive a strong, but beautiful jasmine note. This one smells very natural and almost like sniffing a real flower. It is sweet, but still smells quite different from the jasmine you usually find in many (sweet-floral) fragrances.
This remains so for a while, until the fragrance becomes heavier. A sultry smelling ylang-ylang is now to smell, which I somehow once again not so much like. Ylang-ylang seems to be in vogue, by the way, as it often strikes me lately in new fragrances, such as the new Mon Guerlain Florale, where a very intense ylang note can also be smelled.
Well anyway, especially the beginning of the base is still quite strong Ylang-heavy, so that the fragrance seems quite sultry. Only then, gradually, the fragrance becomes milder again, which is probably thanks to the vanilla. However, the ylang-ylang itself also seems to mellow, as you can smell floral notes (which could now be marigolds, perhaps?) as well as jasmine, in particular, very well again. An actually nice fragrance, which will please especially if you also quite like ylang-ylang.

The beginning of the fragrance is quite weak, but so from the heart note he then seems to really turn on. Then the fragrance is some time well smellable and I think you also leave a small fragrance cloud.
The durability has turned out well, so that the fragrance lasts more than nine or ten hours.

The bottle is black (but transparent) and rectangular with rounded corners. On the front you can see a large label with the logo of Jo Malone as well as the fragrance name. The chrome lid is rounded / oval and looks like an old-fashioned doorknob. It looks nice.

Sooo, I must say that the new fragrance of Jo Malone can convince first already. He smells quite nice, even if he is too Ylang-heavy for myself. If you don't mind that, you'll get a nice scent that fits into spring as well as autumn. And I say here deliberately "the", because the fragrance is in my opinion in no way unisex, but absolutely feminine.

Well anyway, the fragrance is so as I said nice, but unfortunately now also comes a groooßes but:
The fragrance has no particular strengths and also nothing really distinctive in itself, because such fragrances have somehow always been there, because it basically only smells of flowers or flowers, even if these fragrances should be beautiful. That said, expectations here shouldn't be too high, but you also can't go wrong if you're looking for something (heavy sultry) floral, depending on just what kind of flowers you want to smell. So you can test him quiet times.

...uhh, in Plants vs. Zombies, as I said, you have to plaster your garden full of plants and flowers to stop zombies from invading your house and, well, eating your brains out. The marigolds, however, are just ornamental plants that can be planted in another garden, which you can then grow to resell for a profit. Oh, and in the game, of course, the flowers have faces and dance happily away, which looks cuter than real flowers :)
