A tangerine orchard in the dew of a summer morning.
It's time, I write my first review. For this I have chosen the fragrance that has really surprised me recently. Prada Infusion de Mandarine.
The fragrance:
Feels already in the second in which the first spray comes into contact with the air, receives one the fresh breath of green leaves and discreetly in the background remaining Pomeranzen and grapefruit notes. These are very quickly drowned out by a cheerfully laughing mandarin, which immediately evoke the most colorful childhood memories for me. All the while, the clean white florals of a mother watching over the children flow in almost unnoticed in the background. These heart notes slowly fade like a dissolving dream and leave a warm sweet freshness that sends one, still having the children's laughter in the ears, inspired into the day.
Durability:
As you know it from citrus, very fresh fragrances is also this not the longest lasting. On me, the fragrance lasts something 4-5 hours and then even the base is gone. If I used some moisturizer before applying, however, the fruity heart note held noticeably longer.
Sillage:
For me is very surprising that the fragrance is perceived the first 3 hours noticeably by people with whom I am talking (1-1.5m).
Flacon:
A rectangular bottle with embossed Prada metal shield. The cap has an embossed band in matching pastel orange. Overall, a round thing but for me now also nothing particularly outstanding.
Price / performance:
I ordered the 100ml bottle for 65€ and find that a good price for a perfume that likes to be refreshed more often.
Conclusion:
For me personally a clear must have fragrance. Through its focus on the orange citrus, especially the tangerine, it is a particularly cheerful summer fragrance by its powdery clean undertones but never too young or playful. The simple fragrance structure is very tempting to layer experiments on whose results I am only too excited.
I hope I could give you an idea of how this fragrance works on me and maybe I entice one or the other to dream ;-)
