It’s Christmas and I receive this beautiful perfume, which both my mother and I found incredibly appealing when we smelled it at Duty Free in the summer. It’s been a long time, but this was my first "more expensive" perfume, after the initial scents from Maxx and Co. Therefore, this perfume will always remain in my mind. Is it nostalgia or is it really a good scent? No idea, but the DNA is definitely meant for the masses and does not disappoint. At first citrusy and over time very woody. A nice classic with a good scent profile for everyone.

Tonka bean in its true form. In many cheaper fragrances, only a little tonka bean is used and masked with extremely sweet notes Arabians Tonka. However, the true scent of the tonka bean is fully expressed here. This tonka bean smells, as it should, much more like bitter almond than being sticky sweet. In contrast to other Guerlain perfumes, the longevity here is actually decent, as is the sillage. Unfortunately, this masterpiece has been discontinued, like many other beautiful fragrances. Really a shame in this case.

For me, an absolute masterpiece. The vanilla is the main character here, as one can already guess from the name. Compared to other fragrances that rely heavily on vanilla, this is probably the most natural and realistic version of true vanilla. No Ani Extrait de Parfum can compete with it. If it weren't for the longevity and sillage. It is clear that no performance like that of an oud perfume can be expected, but at least a bit more longevity could be expected at this price. Very unfortunate, otherwise this would probably be one of the best perfumes ever. I unfortunately haven't been able to smell the "Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 | Guerlain," but it is said to be even better in every category.

There is probably no one on the planet who hasn't at least accidentally smelled this perfume on the street. Compared to other Oud fragrances, this one just stinks for me personally, and I am actually a fan of Oud in various forms. There seems to be something that people find appealing about this perfume; otherwise, it wouldn't be sold, as tastes are known to differ. However, I can highlight the sillage and longevity; they are fantastic. So, you can "stink" with it for quite a long time.

15 years old, bought my second perfume with my own money and proud as can be. For a teenager, it’s probably even a 9/10, for an adult at most a 5. Extremely synthetic but power from here to Meppen. More nostalgia than actual enjoyment when smelling Eros. Price/performance is really good for a young guy, at a party you will always be perceived solidly and it’s affordable at that age. Apple, mint, and vanilla in a "nice" synthetic combination.
