Ombré Leather with Sweet Mandarin
I specifically drove to Müller today for these Riggs London fragrances, and what can I say: ultra cheap but super high quality.

The one I definitely wanted was the Sceptre as it is said to smell like Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum or Godolphin (whether that’s true can be read in the review for that one), so I immediately packed it and then decided to take another one as well.

I sniffed my way through the available range, my wife got stuck on "Valor | Riggs," which is very comparable to "By the Fireplace | Maison Margiela," and I ended up with this one.

It opens very fruity and citrusy at first, with a lot of mandarin and a bit of pepper on the scent strip. So I took it with me. A leathery Scepter and a fruity Novus, perfect haul!

At home, I sprayed it on my skin; it's nicely light and citrusy, the sweet mandarin is fully present, and then right after, and only in connection with the warmth of my skin, comes a strong leather.
I didn't perceive that at all on the test strip.
Really, really amazing!

So I have here another Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum with a nice mandarin add-on.

I'm really not sure if the Riggs London perfumes are meant to be conscious dupes, because the others also trigger well-known associations but take on a slightly different twist, but wow, are they good!
The bottles totally remind me of Parfum de Marly bottles, but the scents are reminiscent of other houses.

This one, if it is a dupe, I don't know. It completely surprised me. Yes, I associate it with Ombre Leather, but with this mandarin twist, it makes for a completely new experience, magnificent!

The Riggs Scepter is more of the Ombré Leather clone, but with more jasmine, so it's more floral.

I can't say much about the longevity in everyday life yet; I bought and tested it today on a lazy Saturday around 4:30 PM, and I can still perceive it now at 1:30 AM, so I would say very good.
I can't say how it is on a busy weekday yet.

Really great range from Riggs London and truly affordable!

Oh, by the way, the others I know from this range smell, in my opinion, as follows:

Sceptre = Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum

Imperial = Khamrah

Valor = By the Fireplace

Lord = Oud for Greatness Eau de Parfum

Great pieces!
Complete recommendation for the price!

The Desert Rose
"As I looked over the dune, she stood there, majestic yet so fragile in the cold night wind of the desert. Her pink turban glowed in the moonlight, and her clothing fluttered with the wind. I walked down to her, she saw me and her blue eyes pierced through me. When I reached her, I kissed her and the scent of roses filled my nose.
The Khom desert was merciless, we both knew that, but we had each other, and the path to the next oasis was not so far anymore...."

That was a scene from my 'The Dark Eye' role-playing session with a friend. No kidding... But that’s what I thought of with this fragrance.

I usually don’t like creamy scents, and rose is not my favorite either, but Oriental Leather manages to combine both so gently that I like it incredibly much.
On top of that, there is incense, which I can smell very strongly, although "strongly" here does not mean that the scent is extremely intrusive, because it is not.
I find it very gentle, soft, and 'tender'.
Leather, as with most Memo Parsi Leather fragrances, I can hardly smell here at all.
And to be honest, I don’t even know what half of the notes listed here are supposed to be.

So I can only say that for me it smells like cream, rose, and incense, but it combines them so well that I will definitely add it to my favorites.

The Hammer of the Spanish Inquisition
Iberian Leather is the lion in my perfume collection.
It is strong, it is animalistic, and it is wild.

You step onto the battlefield, a war hammer in the shape of a lion's head in your hand. The handle wrapped in suede.
All opponents suddenly look up to you, even your comrades step aside in awe as you stride to the front line.
Your opponents know what is coming, many flee, others stare at you incessantly...
Just your presence alone mercilessly brings your opponents to their knees.

That’s how it feels to wear Iberian Leather.

Saffron dominates the scent, it carries it and is present from the first to the last moment.
On top of that, there is oud, which adds a certain animalistic touch, but not too overpowering, more of an undertone.
Leather is also subtly hidden here, in my opinion more and clearer than in the other Memo Paris fragrances, but still underlying.

This perfume is an all-encompassing scent; you are the center of attention when you enter the room and dominate it.

It is, alongside African Leather Eau de Parfum and "Indian Leather | Memo Paris," one of the best performing perfumes I own, an absolute recommendation.

Azulejos Sunscreen
The scent is supposed to be unisex, like almost everything from Memo Paris, but I find it strongly feminine.

My wife fell in love with this fragrance the first time she sprayed it in the perfumery, but the price put her off.
However, it didn't leave her mind.
Months later, she bought it and it has become her favorite scent.

The Sintra is very powdery, sweet-caramel, with orange and citrus notes added.
I find it dry and heavy, like cream, sunscreen, or makeup; I can't describe it any better.
It's not unpleasant when she wears it; in fact, I like it a lot, but on myself, it quickly becomes too dry, too powdery, and "too much".

The longevity is exorbitant; I can still smell it on my wife the next morning after she applied it the day before. The sillage is extremely strong; the Sintra overpowers everything nearby, even my "Iberian Leather | Memo Paris," which is already quite potent and usually always noticeable. She has even been approached about it in the perfumery, where the surrounding scents are so strong that it's hard to notice any worn perfume.

The bottle with the white glass and the blue/gold plaque is beautiful and a real eye-catcher.

Behind the Curtain
I can hear the people, they are talking, whispering and laughing.
They are waiting, waiting for me, waiting for the next two hours in which I bring them the forgetfulness of everyday life, in which they can throw their worries and fears overboard, in which they can feel fresh and light.
But the curtain is heavy, it separates me from them, it is both protection and isolation. It brings forgetfulness and loneliness. The curtain is heavy...

Wow, what can I say?! I immediately loved "Le Vie di Milano - Behind the Curtain Piazza alla Scala | Trussardi," it has everything a fragrance needs for me, it is fresh and lively with the bergamot, sharply accented by the saffron, sweet as well (no idea where that comes from) and heavy (enough) with the leather.
But it’s not old brown leather, rather a pleasant white leather.

The longevity is exorbitant.
