I quickly get addicted to fragrances and then think: THIS is it...then I find another one that surpasses it, but with Arabians Tonka it's still like that.
I "met" him in Italy and immediately fell head over heels in love. That was my quickest perfume purchase ever.
I didn't know him before and when I tried to explain to the salesman what I was looking for, he showed me this and hit the nail on the head (I will be forever grateful to him for that).
This combination of saffron, oud, light rose and tonka bean is simply brilliant. As I've often written, it's an absolute bomb in terms of longevity and sillage. Careful dosing is important!
Compliments are also not uncommon. It's good for the soul too :)
When I apply it, I have the feeling that we are connecting - sounds cheesy, but it's true. Some fragrances "only" feel like they've been applied, but here there's a kind of fusion!
I love it!

...the soap from the Karma range, then the body lotion, followed by a bath bomb...I always wanted to have this scent on me and bought the perfume. The big bottle, of course!
The fragrance is often compared to incense sticks, I agree.
This combination of the individual components makes it really special. Somehow you can smell a little bit of everything and together it creates a spicy, orangey, feel-good fragrance for me. I don't know of any fragrance that resembles it.
The longevity is very good and you should use it discreetly as it has real power.

The first smell test was "mixed".
My first thought was: "Is it tipped?" I tried another and another and suddenly I loved it! I had never experienced anything like it.
It's now one of my favorites and it puts me in a good mood.
I can't really describe it. To me it smells warm, spicy, incensey...and somehow actually sandy. But also a little woody, oriental and a tiny bit sweet. A bit old school, absolutely not mainstream, but a very special fragrance for me and wearable at any time.

The beach day is coming to an end, I go for a shower, apply "Sparkling Island", put on a light outfit and the balmy summer evening can begin...

I received "Sparkling Island" as part of a product test and was more than surprised. At first I thought "4711"??? (I only knew the "Oma" water until then). But then my eyes widened. After the first spray, the fragrance is citrusy fresh, then it becomes softer, aquatic with a tart note. It matures, so to speak. An absolutely beautiful summer fragrance, I like it very much!

Every now and then I apply it at home after a shower/bath because it gives such a great feeling of freshness.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long, but that's not dramatic considering the price/quality ratio. You can spray it again with a clear conscience.
I think it can definitely be worn by men and women, young and old.
