Effortless elegance
Prada La femme is a perfume that brings together several things: it's clean, slightly soapy, tropical, put together, sensual. It is a very versatile perfume and I would recommend it for most occasions. I also find it suited to a wedding and I have reviewed it in my youtube video on wedding appropriate fragrances, that I am linking here below.

Difficult to Describe...
Prada La Femme is one of those tricky scents to describe. It's a rather complex mish-mash of notes where no note tends to dominate.

I enjoy smelling Prada La Femme however I am hesitant to buy it. On my skin it's a warm, slightly sweet tuberose fragrance which dries down to an even smoother, creamier and somewhat clean floral. Due to its crazy, busy composition my nose tires quickly and I find that I am having to reach for the coffee beans more often than I'd like.

I am unsure as to where this fragrance fits in the current market. Its sweet vanilla-honey scent would appeal to the younger market, however the bottle design and advertising points it in the direction of more mature, classy, brand conscious women.

Despite the fact that I quite like this honeyed, creamy and tropical interpretation of tuberose, I have grave fears for its future. It's definitely unique, I'll give it that, but in saying so it's also a confusing, hard to wear fragrance. At this point in time I would highly recommend testing on your skin first, as Prada La Femme is not something that anyone should be blind purchasing.

Prada La Femme is definitely not a white floral. I would categorise it as an oriental floral although it's not particularly ambery nor spicy. In lots of ways it's nearly as controversial as the 2004 Prada Amber.

Clean and soapy, but nothing unique or head-turning
I got a decant of this to test it out before committing to a full bottle and I'm really glad I did.

This is a *very* soapy, waxy, spicy fragrance with a slightly sweet edge. The florals in this really all blend together extremely smoothly to become a very smooth, generic soapy scent instead of having really identifiable facets from each floral note. The iris definitely sticks out a little bit, but the yellow and white florals really all meld together to make a pretty bland floral soapiness, which makes up the majority of the scent profile. It's rooted in a sweet base from the beeswax and vanilla while adding a warm spicy kick from the spicy notes in here. The vetiver in this is really smooth and mostly just offers a slightly woody facet instead of the characteristic "scratchy" edge it often adds. The bergamot is only there for the first 20-30 minutes to add a bright citrus facet to the top

I see this as being a really great office-safe choice, but I also can't really find anything interesting about it. It's clean, fresh, and inoffensive, but it loses so much character in the process. The notes are almost so well blended that it's hard to pick them apart without a lot of concentration. It's perfect to smell freshly clean, but it lacks the "wow factor" I tend to look for in fragrances. It's not a bad fragrance, it's just a very elegantly-mixed soapy scent which isn't for me.

If you tend to like soapy fragrances, this is probably a pretty safe blind buy you'll enjoy, but it's not going to be the right DNA for my fellow gourmand girlies or vanillic sweet floral fans. Great for daytime wear, but doesn't have the impact to be a good daytime or night out scent.

Pretty fair value for the money; you can find bottles of this at discounters for less than $100 very easily.

Watery lightness
One of my all time favourite fragrances, actually in my top five, is from Prada: Infusion d’Iris. One of the best Iris interpretations ever made, in my opinion. Everything about this perfume is a success: the bottle, the wrapping, the scent. Just beautiful.
Therefore I always tend to expect something extraordinary from Prada. Right now I have four bottles: L’Eau Ambrée, Amber Pour Homme, Infusion d’Iris and La Femme. The latter I just bought the other day. My partner used to wear L’Homme Intense, which is drop dead gorgeous. So I was really excited to receive La Femme. The bottle somehow tells that we are in the same league as with L’Homme Intense. I am not so sure after testing.
To my nose there is an almost watery/floral vibe with this. Maybe a lightness - watery may be the wrong way to explain. The frangipani and the beeswax combined make a different sweetness - lighter and more versatile. I was expecting something loud but instead I got this very delicate expression. It lasts two to three hours which, for me, is a bit short. I would have expected more but looking at the notes, it is mostly the Vanilla that may have the ability to perform longer. I do not know.
I shall keep it, though. It has that really beautiful frangipani note, and that makes it worth it. I wear Kenzo Amour for the same reason. La Femme will be a great substitute.

I didn't know "clean floral" could exist until I experienced La Femme. It's what I imagine naturally good-smelling would smell like.

Truly elegant, smooth and clean scent, a lady's perfume. Noticeable, but not loud.

Initial tropical florals are quite pleasant but quickly becomes a sweet woody-beeswax. Reminds me of furniture polish from my childhood days

A truly elegant floral for the spring/ summer months, I have the intense version as well, and wear that, either at night or fall/winter.
