On Sale, Gladly
I got the fragrance at Müller on sale for an unbeatable €14.50. It's definitely worth it when you consider the performance and quality. Please don't pay full price!

As everyone knows, it is "inspired" by Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. I would say it is 85% there. However, especially in the middle of the fragrance development, I smell an extremely cheap plastic note that just won't let me go. That's why it unfortunately collects dust on the shelf.

An alternative if you have a bit more money available but still don't want to pay TF prices: La Yuqawam pour homme by Rasasi. It's significantly closer to the original and smells, at least to me, much more high-quality.

Smells fantastic but very expensive…
In a sharing, I acquired a small decant of this fragrance. Since the package arrived, I have tested Nio multiple times. First of all: The citrus notes in the opening smell excellent and almost photorealistic. You immediately feel like you are in a blooming garden with what feels like eight different citrus trees in full glory. This feeling lasts for about an hour.

Unfortunately, after that, the problems I have with Nio begin. It becomes increasingly shallow, weaker, flatter, and skin-close, and starts to fade from photorealism into a two-dimensional representation, a shadow of the opening. For summer, and if you are willing to reapply, that’s perfectly fine, but the price plays a significant role here. If the realistic citrus bomb sounds like something for you, great. But you need to be aware that every spray comes with a Super Mario coin sound, where 50 cents disappear into the spray mist.
