Cooling, balsamic freshness
This fragrance was introduced to me on a hot summer day at the Acqua di Parma stand in KDW by the extremely friendly saleswoman. From the very first sniff, I was convinced that this would become one of my favorite fresh scents.
Right after spraying, the scent is quite citrusy, typical of ADP. After 5 minutes, I think I can distinctly smell the myrtle (I believe it is the myrtle) and also the basil. Over time, the fragrance develops more mineral notes, and I inevitably think of Italian coasts. However, I would not classify the scent as aquatic but rather as citrusy/green. The Italian association is, as is often the case with ADP, quite pronounced for me. The fragrance smells very natural and is super pleasant for everyone, of that I am convinced..
Sillage and longevity are, in my opinion, somewhat above average for a fragrance of this kind. I believe it is simply not possible to create a strong, long-lasting scent with such light, fine notes as ADP uses in their colognes without resorting to synthetics. And for summer, you don't need that anyway.
For me, Mirto di Panarea works best in high temperatures when one is craving a refreshment. At this time, it is my absolute favorite scent. I can also highly recommend putting it in the fridge and simply applying 1 or 2 sprays for a refreshing boost at noon. Generally, feel free to spray generously.. ;)
