LIKE ICE IN THE SUNSHINE
90's Italian vacation as a child. Building a sandcastle. The sun is blazing. Sand sticks to the skin, slathered with thick sunscreen. A slightly salty taste on the lips from previous splashes in the sea. Waffle cone with stracciatella and pistachio - dripping from sun melting. In the background, one can faintly hear the constant sound of the sea & “Coco Bello, Coco Bello!”

These images come to me instantly with this fragrance.

The summery vacation feeling appears to me in a strangely nostalgic way. I have the song “like ice in the sunshine” in my ear or the old commercial in my mind. In the end, the scent is like a sweeter type of sunscreen with classic “tropical” vibes. Quite well composed, it does not come off as cheap like Soleil Blanc. I can certainly understand why many have more Maldives rather than Tuscany associations here. I perceive delicate coconut nuances (although not listed as a fragrance note). It is quite present and has a solid, linear scent progression. Unfortunately, I do not notice the citrusy opening at all (reformulation?). For a purchase, it would be too under-complex for me and would probably get lost among the sun-lotioned people in summer. In my opinion, something special is missing here. I probably wouldn’t have guessed this is a Tom Ford fragrance if I had sniffed it on someone.

Sillage Harsh
The misleading assumption that the scent has something to do with "white" overwhelms me unexpectedly. Hardly sprayed, this perfume assaults my senses with a bitter, herbal, boggy-green, sharp, resinous, nasty something that lays bitter on my tongue and makes me feel downright nauseous. I can't shake off the taste for what feels like 2 days, and the thought of smelling it again just makes me uneasy and queasy. My personal olfactory nightmare. I first thought I was having a bad day and tried it again - I regretted it once more.
The first fragrance sample I have discarded and the first scent I wanted to scrub off immediately. Unfortunately, the stuff clings like tar to one ;P
It's admirable that the perfume has so many admirers - perhaps I'm just not ready to understand it and recognize the art behind it. Sorry! The wrong, naive expectations of the scent play a role here as well, which is why I refrain from giving a rating.

Donna Amore Verte
Love!! What a wonderful scent! I'm usually not a fan of the classic rose theme - in this case, the young, green rose combined with mate and citrus freshness is simply genius, beautiful, bubbly, refreshing, floral, "energizing," unique, and the best option for summery, invigorating vibes!

A little story about this: On my way home from work by bike, on a beautiful summer evening, I caught a recurring, dreamily refreshing whiff of fragrance. It must have come from a young woman a few meters ahead of me, on a mint-colored hipster Dutch bike, dressed in a long, flowing floral dress and with light brown, flowing locks - at least she was the one I attributed this scent to, as she perfectly matched it. I almost risked overtaking her to ask about the fragrance - I pondered for a whole kilometer about what to do (why is the traffic light never red when you need it.. arrr) Ultimately, it felt too risky and uncomfortable in the bustling after-work traffic… (I already saw her dress in my bike spokes XD) Of course, I regretted not asking her afterward. But it definitely inspired me to want a fragrance that makes people sustainably amazed and follow me on their bikes unnecessarily long :D Even though I don't know if it was actually Donna Rosa Verde in the end - I have exactly that vibe / that impression of the scent, just like from the floral dress bike lady.

Why are you limited, you dream scent? What a shame… Come on, stock up!

My Prada Unisex
I’m femme, not homme. I still love it on me and on men. What a beautiful, sexy, potent scent (lasts for days on my clothes!). I can’t really relate to the “soapy-clean-office” association. I perceive the scent as fresh, well-groomed but not soapy in the classic sense - rather aromatic and sensual, not overly sweet at all, and absolutely suitable for going out! One of those fragrances where you think “Uh, what smells so incredibly good? - oh, that’s me!” :D I noticed this on my jacket, which radiated this wonderful scent in the hallway a day later.

Gin Drink Freshness Superb
Wow, you have blown me away! Refreshing gin drink citrus at the beginning, luxuriously transitioning into woody, elegant, leathery notes. Overall, beautifully composed. The countless fragrance notes blend together seamlessly, without any one component becoming too prominent. Immediate association with the luxurious interior of a new, high-end sports car - pure coolness. Strong! For me, it's unisex! I wear it as a woman when I want to feel overly cool and unique ;)
