The magnificent attack
I am a poor boy in Colombia. I've been working for a cigar factory for 7 years now, the pay is meagre and it's only enough for daily food and a small hut next to an empty church. One day the factory was attacked and everyone who was there was taken away by the bandits, only I was able to hide. Some time passed and I dared to come out of hiding.
Everything was empty and destroyed...
I went into my boss's office, on his desk was a glass with a few drops of whisky, a bitten chocolate and a cigar. I wanted to feel powerful, I dared to sit down on the leather chair and put my legs up on the table.
I ate the chocolate and then reached for the glass to sip the last drops of whisky. There's still the cigar I want to smoke. Impatiently, I took the lighter out of my jacket pocket and held it to the cigar. Puff puff puff. It smells wonderful.
What is that great sound that makes my ears hurt so much?
It's my alarm clock, it was just a dream... I'm only a perfumer at Xerjoff..

Who's coming to the party?
It's Friday night and I have a party planned for tonight
It starts at 22:00.
Invited are: Incense, bergamot, heliotrope, clove, jasmine, cocoa, benzoin and tonka bean.
The doorbell rings punctually at 10 pm, it's bergamot and clove. I welcome the two of them.
5 minutes pass and the doorbell rings again, it's jasmine, cocoa and tonka bean. I am very happy to see the three of them. As I accompany them to the living room, I notice that the bergamot is gone. Never mind, I don't really have a good friendship with bergamot and I'm a little glad it's gone.
Now clove, jasmine, cocoa, tonka bean and I are sitting in the living room waiting for the other guests to finally be able to celebrate.
Seven hours pass and no one has come. Are we sad about that? No, the seven hours were very nice and enjoyable.
