Wet laundry under the scorching sun
Sicily smells to me like freshly washed laundry that has been washed with Ariel and lemon fabric softener. A hint of synthesis resonates right from the start.

Hung soaking wet on the line, it steams away under the scorching sun. A lukewarm wind blows through the rows, bringing a musky fluff with it. The lemon is dominant here, a little bitchy, but then becomes a little smoother after a hint of peach and mint combine. The musky fluff becomes firmer and firmer, literally pulling itself into the scent. A shallow scent of flowers then hangs in there. This is the final blow for me. From then on, it doesn't harmonize at all. Artificial freshness is probably the best term here. Apple juice also runs into the course. Spritzed with stale mineral water.

So it hangs there, the laundry. For a whole day. Dried thoroughly until the evening. Everything out of it, steamed out. No great odors, derailments or developments.

Would I like to smell like that? No. Although it is certainly extremely interesting for some people, I prefer to reach for other summer fragrances. The longevity and the sillage are remarkable, but in the end it's just too cardboardy and artificial for me. Even though I like the smell of freshly laundered laundry and it comes across well at first, in the end the whole construct is not a harmonious combination.

Panther in a sweet frenzy
Panther Fangs is a panther that has fallen victim to sweet intoxication. Animalic notes plod along on a sweet, resinous background. Wisps of smoke only modestly conceal the atmosphere, only timidly allowing wafts of fog to rise in the brain. The sweetness is well placed, however, as it takes some of the power away from the animalistic hit, or rather takes the wind out of its sails, otherwise it would be too much of a good thing for me personally. Over time, it is gently undermined by a delicate note of jasmine and tonka bean. It is clearly creamy towards the heart, deeply sweet and dark in the base.

There are not many leaps in development here. It is a panther in a sweet frenzy from start to finish. I find that this animalic touch combines extremely well with the sweetness, and this timid smoky cloak is also used judiciously. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, especially if you don't like too much tonka and jasmine in an animalic fragrance, but very interesting and wearable throughout. It breathes very softly on the skin and is very close to the skin. The panther does not extend its claws. On the contrary, it only touches the skin with its paws. A very fine animal note envelops you all day and all night, surrounded by this dark sweetness.

Sillage and longevity are quite strong, I also like the bottle. Unfortunately, I only have a small mini droplet in the bottle and will have to use it sparingly for the first time, as it is no longer available everywhere. I will definitely continue to research Calaj. It may not have reinvented the wheel, but it has that certain something.

The art of change
Admittedly, Argos has really beautifully designed flacons. It's definitely not a one-size-fits-all, as is so often the case with many. Bottles. Of course, I also like it very simple, but I'm not averse to those that also represent something. The packaging is also a feast for the eyes. In this case, the bottle is adorned with a painting by the famous Austrian artist Gustav Klimt. According to contemporary history, Danaë was created in 1907 and is timeless and full of color, as we know it from Klimt. I personally have some of Klimt's paintings, not real ones of course (laugh), hanging in my hallway and I am still delighted when I look at them. Of course, a little treasure like that goes down well with me. Visually speaking, but what about the content?

The perfume starts off a little bulky, citrusy and woody. It gets right down to business and these two compounds don't give each other anything and build up to such an extent that they are really blown up and pretty much exhaust their potential over time. Because it soon becomes quite different. A very velvety overlay of musk is applied over everything here. Gently sprinkled with pepper and nutmeg. A warm sea breeze blows through the fragrance, allowing it to ride calmly and blissfully on citrusy waves. The initially very rich and bulky woody fragrance becomes much lighter and drifts along. A lovely note of cashmere embeds itself and is firmly embraced by the powerful waves. The atmosphere is silky and shiny. It feels as if you are gliding around on warm, tanned skin with cold fingertips.

Over time, a very pleasant citrus note can be heard again and again, leaving the senses dazed. A true chameleon, which was released here by Argos. The term "art of change" takes on a very clear meaning here.

The fragrance is creamy and sweet on the skin. It releases a few patchouli kisses here and there and lingers on me for a long time before being swept away by musky fluff and low waves. Romantic. Somehow very touching. I don't know how to explain it, but it's a very interesting fragrance. Danäe would probably be delighted too. The scent would also match the painting.

Sweet desert
In my opinion, the name is completely misleading.
I would have expected a distinct dry, resinous desert atmosphere here.
What I got was a warm, floral fragrance with a distinct sweetness to it.
It remotely reminds me of a YSL fragrance, which doesn't seem to match these scents at all.
My first blind purchase of this brand, will probably be my last Ausmane.
The bottle is not particularly a feast for the eyes. After only a few days, it went to a friend who likes sweet, floral fragrances.

The fragrance starts off very floral (but I can't identify it, it may be all kinds of flowers), with a hint of shallow warmth that becomes much rounder and, above all, hotter over time. A shallow oriental puddle, I thought to myself here. Cocoa notes are barely perceptible, it is rather a lovely note of tonka bean that sits on top of the flowers. Over time, it is clearly undermined by a citrusy, fluffy powdery note that burrows rudely under everything here. Well, a tornado in the Sahara is really something else! There is not much revelation here either. At the end, it still seems a little lightly woody, with the flowery sweetness pushing its way in everywhere. Unfortunately, this blind purchase was a disappointment, especially as I was expecting something completely different. Admittedly, it doesn't seem particularly inferior to me, but it's not particularly good either. Mediocre would fit the bill. A sweet desert is "Tornade Sahara | Ausmane", dotted with flowery oases.
Longevity and sillage are so-so, could be much more powerful.
It's all nice, but that's about it!

Fusion of heaven & earth

Fusion of heaven and earth.
Water and air.
Embers & rock.
In between, flowing, lovely resin.
All surrounded by dense incense,
which literally triggers brain fog.
Iridescent sandy facets also cloud
still cloud the view. Shimmering heat that breaks the ice in
breaks me.
A sting in the incense lover's heart,
makes love bubble to the surface.
It all feels so warm.
The incense is in every pore.
The skin breathes calmly to itself,
lets steam rise into the frozen air.
Cold outside, warm inside.
That's the scent.
Resinous, smoky, sandy. Warm.

Made for incense lovers!
For those who want to fog their brains with smoke without losing consciousness. Because "Samharam | Arte Profumi" is not an incense bomb. No, it nests gently under the skin and into the memory. It only releases its juice to the wearer in moderation, inspires them with small doses and gradually makes them compliant and addicted.
Not annoying, not brute, nothing to do with cold church!

Durability and sillage outstanding, despite performance close to the skin!
A very beautiful structure, which was placed here in the bottle.
Incredibly good!
