Adequate, Classic, Harmonious and Under the Radar.
I am writing this review based on the parfum because when you go to the parfum on this platform it has a very dated bottle which may be slightly confusing to some... This review is Isfarkand PARFUM, yes PARFUM Not Eau De Parfum.

This is my first Ormonde Jayne, and I have to say this is a stellar fragrance and what has already been said is true that this fragrance is adequate to take you from the office to your best friend's wedding. Very balanced, relatively linear, perfect amounts of silage. If you're a man, I think you really can't go wrong with this type of composition on your skin.

Off the rip when I first sprayed it, I was met with a very realistic lime and a bit of orange as well. Rather bitter but I can't say I don't like it... I do think the opening is slightly synthetic but that's not a bad thing at all! Into the mid you will find the citrus blending with the pink pepper and iris; I find this part of the dry down to be very harmonious and mass appealing as you will also find the base notes to be.

Wait about 3ish hours to get to the base and I think you will agree with me that this is the best part of the composition. A woody vetiver with iris and citrus dancing in the background I think this parfum screams elegance and completeness. It smells does indeed smell like everything is under control. This is most definitely a parfum concentration as you will see and feel the heavier oil concentration on your skin which means (personal opinion) you can go very heavy on spray amount because this is such a dense mixture that it's not really going to radiate off the skin like an EDP will but... This will last you 8-10 hours of solid silage which for me is better than massive projection for 3 hours and then dying down to a skin scent but of course that is subjective.

Overall, I think this is a great fragrance and whether you believe Jayne that she really made this composition for her husband I think every man is well equipped with this, summer or winter, day or night, office or date nights. If you like the ingredients listed, you will like this fragrance. A complete and elegant classic men's fragrance that nobody else is wearing. Doesn't get much better!!

Creed Convictions
So, you have arrived at Aventus Cologne. A voyage vast and fulfilling, filled with exhilarating heights and depths. Where can we possibly begin?

At the top as we set over a masculine horizon with a centricity of citrus notes, we are met with a piercing pink peppercorn so sharp, nearly piercing the hull but what gorgeous radiance surrounds them. A sparkling essence fills the air as we are greeted by a light and airy ginger. Making way down to the second level of the ship we find a much darker arena...

A classic vetiver we find hiding in the midst of the top. We discover the patchouli dancing along with this vetiver so delicately setting the tone. But from the distance comes smoked pineapple, protruding the dance floor and nearly stealing the show. But it says its adieu and departs from the scene almost as quickly as it came.

Making our way to the third level of the vessel we find strong iterations of birch and styrax, this is intriguing as we find a near animalic character. In the thick smoking birch, we find a man. Who is this man? Stepping closer we see the fine garments he is draped in. How could this be? A man of such manners and elegance, bold yet understanding. But as we approach, he seems to vanish in a matter of moments. So familiar yet unrecognizable. True class at first glance, his aroma is just a hint of his character. But what can we say to these things? A light spot in the darkness! A moment of clarity amongst the chaos!

This is Aventus Cologne.

A Gentlemen's Fragrance
Ahh Roja's Vetiver Pour Homme Parfum...

First, the price... Yes of course it is expensive, this is Roja. If you want a legit bottle as well as a good price, go to Jomashop and get it for $214.99. That is the price I paid, obviously if you pay retail you are going to feel scammed.

This is a beautifully constructed and blended parfum. I see a lot of people on here complaining about this being average as far as silage/projection and just the overall profile. This fragrance is very heavy on the raw materials so of course it is not going to project very well, with raw materials like sandalwood and rose absolute you're just not going to get "insane" projection/silage. If you want something like that please look into Dior Sauvage or some Versace cologne, they go very heavy on the aroma chemicals.

So, with that being said let's talk about this fragrance... At the top I'm getting a really nice litsea cubeba with slight bergamot which gives it that Roja sparkle. This litsea cubeba lasts about 2 hours and carries really nice into the hearts notes where you will find massive amounts of lily-of-the-valley florals which smell of complete elegance and intrinsically blend with the soon to come vetiver. Heart notes last about another 1.5ish hours until we get the base note dry down.

The base is where this fragrance really makes its mark (Wait about 3.5-4 hours) ... transitioning from the heart of florals blooms a light, airy and clean vetiver. This vetiver is draped in loads of dry woods and leather like ingredients. This may be why some complain because the vetiver is so delicately added and wrapped in many different notes. I get an almost aquatic like vetiver which to me smells absolutely brilliant.

This fragrance has ruined other "fresh" fragrances from other brands just because of how greatly constructed it is so, beware lol.

So, is this an amazing fragrance? 100% this is peak perfumery. Are you going to fill a room with everyone's head turning and people bowing before you? No, but I have a feeling the man that wants this fragrance would in no way want to do that.
