Love on the 2nd Riecher..
When I smelled Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy at the testers in Rossmann (already a few years ago), I could only get excited about the blue midnight version and thought, Fantasy and I won't be friends anymore in this life
Somehow I could only smell musk at that time, maybe a few indefinable flowers at most.
Today I am really happy to have given the fragrance another chance! My girlfriend smelled so tasty that I had to try it out again.
And indeed; first on the skin, it comes out quite, quite differently!
A fruity, vanilla sweetness (kiwi and cupcake I guess), framed by mild orchid!
Actually, I'm not a fan of orchid fragrance, because it's much too heavy for me, but here the flower is very soft, quiet and unobtrusive.

Magnolia baths in white crisp chocolate..
Curious by Britney Spears, was my first "real" perfume. How happy I was when, as a teenager, I held the blue, pink, dotted cardboard in my hands and how proud I was... I had wanted it for my birthday, although I didn't know the scent, because I adored Mrs. Spears and her music at that time!
Today I listen to ETWAS other music (mainly Metal XD), but my love for this fragrance has remained unchanged.
Yeah, it's a floral, clean scent. But I think curios is still very demanding. I don't know if it's the tuber rose, but this fragrance doesn't smell typically sweet after the celebrity fragrances, but adult, clean, flowery, creamy.
Although it is not listed, but do you know this way chocolate, with the puffed rice inside? And you know how this one smells? Somehow the sweetness of this fragrance reminds me! But so, so beautiful, together with the magnolia! I'm such a general fan of magnolia and tuberose, but here the flowers are so young and fresh and not at all old-fashioned!
Besides, the durability is HAMMER on me!
I hope that it will never be discontinued and I hope that the fragrance will accompany me for a very long time to come! :)

My father's fragrance...
... Déclaration was one of my father's scents. The bottle has remained as a memory of him and stands in front of the picture frame that adorns my favourite photo of him, where he holds me in his arms as a 2 year old.
And just like this photo, this scent speaks to me. Warm through and through, not pushy and yet so meaningful.
For me, this scent is just like my father was... Protective, proud, warm...
Spicy orange, so simple and maybe that's why it's so great.
I think this fragrance is for very special men. Men of the sort, hard skin, soft core. Who don't talk much because they talk with their eyes. Hiding smiles and not being able to hide them.

i just signed up here because i had this strong need, because i took this dupe from LaRive to Angel from Rossman for less than 8 Euro today.
It's not my first dupe of LaRive, but I was so happy to hear about it (because it's one of my all-time favorites, if not my holy grail) that I became very curious. And yes, actually. 99%, same DNA as Angel von Mugler.
Maybe I like it even a little bit better, because the intensity of Angel can really knock you out and therefore the dosage is not always easy.
River of love is not quite as strong, not quite as durable. But still, compared to fragrances that are more "mainstream", still very, very intense and powerful.
BUT, of course, Angel is not for everyone. Chocolate, patchouli, fruit bomb explodes with every step of the wearer. Angel is pure femininity, not discreet, not quiet. It's KABOOM! Look how beautiful I am, thaha! And yes, I deliberately write it that way, because I think women have to be vain to be able to wear such fragrances.
If I were to compare Angel, or River of love, with a piece of clothing, it would be a silver shiny mullet dress, covered with shimmering pearls... They shine like a shell core in all colours.
Well, I can see why so many people don't like fishing. It's definitely something for Loud women.
Anyway, I am happy to have found this Dupe, because the Mugler was too expensive for me to wear it every day. Now I will wear this stunning fragrance more often, especially during the coming cold days... I'm so happy!
