Break a lance...
I break a lance. Le Mâle Lover currently stands at 7.1 and enjoys little enthusiasm - yet 'Lover' is truly a great fragrance!

I unmistakably perceive the modern Le Male DNA, which I know and love from Le Mâle Le Parfum! Masculine sweetness, no Bubble Gum, but mature, established sweetness. Dominance flanked by motivation and seduction. Self-assured, attractive, not abrasive, but pleasing.

Le Mâle Lover is an all-rounder that, in my view, always works - although in the depths of winter, Le Mâle Le Parfum might indeed take over. In a manageable dosage, Le Mâle Lover works in the office and, at higher concentrations, of course also in the evening hours. Even in the scorching heat of summer, I can easily imagine it - it will be tested live this year!

So why the previously weak rating? Yes, the initial impression is 'shower gel scent' - but that's just the first. The second is directly a seductive Le Male. But it is indeed simple, and that doesn't always suffice for an experienced perfume nose. Its simplicity also makes it so versatile. Every weakness is also a strength...

Don't let yourself be framed, ignore the rating, test the fragrance once and again, and I am sure that Le Mâle Lover will please many. Let's see if we can still reach 8.X over the course of the year!

EDIT:
Regarding the coconut: Yes, there is definitely a coconut accord noticeable. However, it is a creamy coconut, not a fruity one like Virgin Island Water.

I Taste the Endless Expanse of the Ocean
My white cotton shirt lies air-dried on my chest. The wind wants to blow westward, sweeping strands of my copper-colored hair across my face. The tips of my hair tickle my nose, finding their way between my eyes and my Pantone sunglasses. I gaze at golden to champagne sparkling waves under the low-hanging sun. The unmistakable sounds of bickering oyster fishermen. My toes feel the sand; I haven't worn shoes for weeks. Sand, the spray, cold water, mud, and more sand. I turn around and see the others jumping from our daytona-red pickup. Carefree chatter, music, someone must have a speaker with them. I stand still, feeling the passing of others as the sand grains peel off my legs, exploded by them. I follow behind, feeling countless scallops under my soles. The roar of the surf grows louder. The bubbling surface of the water has now taken on a salmon hue, crashing onto sandbanks and rising at some beach sections against dark basalt towers. Salt settles on my skin, creeping over my lips. I can taste the endless expanse of the ocean.

Let’s set aside the fragrance pyramid and all the technicalities. I have tested various summer and sea scents. Light Blue does what you expect of it, Millesime has a sailing boat vibe, but none brings you to the shores of this world like Pacific Rock Moss does. This is what long, hot summers smell like. Days at the beach that seem never-ending, tropical nights, clinking ice cubes in fogged-up glasses. Yes, you smell moss, but not the 80s gray-suits-in-the-executive-suite alpha oak moss, but truly the saltwater-drenched green of rocks. You smell salt, you can almost taste it. But Pacific Rock Moss is also sweet, absolutely sweet. The simplest comparison would be to a classic long drink - but that’s also the most boring. No, Pacific Rock Moss smells like diced pineapples (shout out to Rozay x Drake) on bare caramel-colored skin, the fruit juice beading off and running in unsteady paths...

Creamy Queen of White Floral Scents
I hereby officially award the title of 'Creamy Queen of White Floral Scents' to Kayali's 'Déjà Vu White Flower | 57'. I am also pleased to note that this is the first comment for this still quite young perfume.

While searching for new women's fragrances for my wife, I stumbled upon Déjà Vu in a video by Leni's Scents (thank you for the recommendation, Leni!). Since the combination of orange blossom, sandalwood & vanilla usually appeals to my wife, and the scent was touted as the absolute best white floral fragrance, I immediately ordered a sample from Souk.

One should be cautious with superlatives, and also with giving full marks in a review - but damn, this scent deserves it! As I described in my statement after the first spray: Déjà Vu is insane! A perfectly balanced combination of white flowers and a creamy sweetness. Although this is a floral fragrance, I definitely do not perceive it as too 'flowery' or even opulent. Déjà Vu leans towards Boss Orange, just much creamier! Imagine a creamy vanilla ice cream decorated with perfectly ripened fruits - and then slowly pour the contents of a Boss Orange bottle over it. You shouldn't eat it, but smelling it is fantastic! :)

Since Déjà Vu brings all the essential elements without leaning too strongly in one direction, the fragrance is wearable in any situation and at any time - another big plus. The alluring sweetness and airy creaminess work just as well on a date or in the evening as they do at a garden barbecue or in the office!

Finally, a little speculation regarding the name without any background knowledge: the main accords of this fragrance are not a world novelty; almost everyone has probably smelled a similar scent before. When you smell Déjà Vu for the first time, you get a déjà vu, "I've smelled this before..." - however, 'Déjà Vu White Flower | 57' manages to rise above everything previously smelled as the absolute queen of white floral scents.

Powerful Sailor with a Lavender Bouquet.
Titanium takes me back to the year 2002. MTV hip-hop, oversized clothes, and a tingling anticipation for the future. That electrifying tension one feels as a young teenager - the hope that the future belongs to you, that you can achieve anything. This feeling personally connects me to the scent of Titanium. And that’s why I have to give this fragrance the first comment on Parfumo.

Through a well-known online retailer, I finally ordered a bottle of my youthful love for a modest price. Researching the fragrance notes, a strong resemblance to the popular sailor Le Mâle becomes immediately apparent.

Top notes: Bergamot, Orange, Lemon, a bit of Cardamom
Heart notes: Star Anise, Cinnamon, Mint, Lavender
Base notes: Musk, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Maritime Notes

Yes, the similarity is unmistakable. Personally, I find the scent significantly spicier and more robust than Le Mâle - and that’s a good thing. The pleasant lavender note is extremely prominent. Titanium is absolutely enchanting, radiates an attractive warmth, and exudes determination to conquer the future.

For the reasonable price, Titanium will continually find its way into my collection. By the way, I find the longevity perfectly acceptable for a fragrance from the low-price segment - besides, an extra spritz here costs practically nothing!

A Powdery Wave.
Homme Intense, currently number 3 in the top perfumes for men. After the first spray from my souk, I already made a statement - the scent caught me! Seductive, enveloping. After wearing it several times in everyday life, the rose-tinted glasses have disappeared; we seemingly don't quite match - or were the occasions wrong?

The first impression immediately reminded me of Armani Eau de Nuit - which I am a big fan of. Perhaps this would be different if I had first encountered Dior Homme Intense? However, in its scent development, Homme Intense tends more towards the sweet, tender undertone of a Valentino Uomo EdT. Eau de Nuit maintains the darkness that I really like in this combination. With Homme Intense, the iris quickly takes over (the fragrance pyramid listed here is unfortunately very simplified), and this is in a concentration that definitely overwhelms me quickly. As soon as I apply more than 4 sprays, the scent wave rolls over me and my immediate surroundings. Individual notes are hardly perceivable, only a noticeable heaviness spreads. If you give Homme Intense the chance to unfold, you definitely have a solid companion - perhaps more for the evening or special occasions.

I can agree with my predecessor Cngz95: my wife was extremely taken with Homme Intense as well as Valentino Uomo! Still being a newcomer in the world of fragrances, Homme Intense teaches me, however, that I personally might not be the biggest fan of powdery scents.
